Have you heard the news?! This Digital Marketing Specialist role will be supporting our colleagues and clients at MorganMyers - a G&S Agency.

The Digital Marketing Specialist assists the MorganMyers digital team and helps the agency with digital marketing strategy with a strong focus on social media content development and planning and influencer partnerships and activations. This role will assist our clients in increasing their social presence, foster audience expansion and broadened engagement, and drive measurable growth for brands in agriculture and CPG (food) industries. In addition, this role collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment of digital and social strategies, improve KPIs, collect and distribute best practices, lead & implement key content and social media/influencer initiatives, and further drive digital opportunities for our clients.

Duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Execute a data-driven social media strategy aligned with brand voice, target audience, and business goals of clients and agency.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of social media and content creator platform offerings to unlock access and increase adoption of features that will enhance the relevancy of content.
  • Create a framework for content creation, integrating client priorities to accelerate content creation, execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos) across various social media platforms with emphasis on innovation.
  • Oversee social media content calendars, ensuring content is published consistently and adheres to client’s brand guidelines.
  • Review audience research to understand demographics, interests, and online behavior to tailor content accordingly. Lead the development of audience building and paid social advertising and oversee the execution while working with clients.
  • Review social media data and identify trends and insights to inform content strategy and campaign optimization.
  • Utilize analytics to identify what is working and what isn't, build performance dashboards and client reports, and continuously optimize social creative, targeting, and channel mix to achieve results.
  • Develop, manage, and report on the content budget for campaigns, allocating resources effectively to achieve brand goals.
  • Create comprehensive influencer marketing strategies that align with clients overall marketing objectives and brand initiatives while maintaining channel profitability and delivering on client objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure a unified brand experience across all channels.
  • Oversee the quality and accuracy of social media work, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and organizational standards.
  • Review competitive analysis and stay up to date on best practices to inform strategic planning.
  • Champion best practices in social media and stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members through daily feedback and other professional development opportunities.
  • Assist with internal guidance to the team to ensure projects are strategically aligned with the client’s expectations and executed within budget and timeline.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing with a proven track record of success in organic growth.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices for major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Intermediate level knowledge of developing and implementing data-driven social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to analyze social media data, identify trends, and translating insights into actionable strategies that show measurable growth.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing successful influencer marketing strategies for brands (CPG or agriculture industries preferred), with a proven track record of achievements.
  • Capable of developing influencer campaign briefs and effectively communicating with influencers of varying ages and communication styles by adapting communication methods, actively listening, and adjusting approach for clarity and resonance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of brand voice and messaging.
  • Proven success in creating engaging social media content (text, images, videos) with a focus on measurement and showing organic growth.
  • Proven success in managing social media and influencer campaigns across multiple social networks.
  • Proven success in using social media tools and technology while increasing efficiency.
  • Design thinking mindset and problem-solving skills with a deep focus on the user journey.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Intermediate understanding of digital marketing (web development, SEO, social media, strategic analytics, etc.) interconnectivity and best practices.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment managing multiple projects in different stages of completion.
  • High level of comfort with core business tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire senior leadership.
  • Strategic thinking, vision building, and the ability to motivate and guide others.
  • Understanding of building and managing strong relationships with cross-functional teams and management.
