Job Overview: We are seeking a strategic Director of Social Media & Brand Partnerships to lead our efforts in building and nurturing deep, impactful relationships with key brand partners and influencers. This senior role will drive the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies, brand partnerships, and influencer partnerships, all aligned with a strategically developed marketing calendar. The goal is to enhance our market presence and foster long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media, influencer management, and forging strategic brand alliances, with a proven track record of elevating brand identity, driving business success through collaboration, and effectively planning and executing marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of a forward-thinking social media strategy that aligns with CARiD's business goals
- Lead the social media channel in content creation, scheduling, and community engagement to build a robust online presence
- Regularly analyze social media performance, providing insights and making data-driven adjustments to enhance engagement and growth
- Strategic Brand Partnerships & Alliances:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key brands that align with our values and business objectives
- Negotiate and manage long-term partnerships that deliver mutual benefits, enhancing CARiD's market position
- Develop and execute co-branded marketing campaigns that leverage these alliances to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition
- Influencer Marketing Management:
- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers that align with our brand and marketing objectives
- Design and implement influencer marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions
- Track and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Marketing Promotions, Calendar Oversight & Vendor Collaboration:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar that aligns with business goals, ensuring all promotional activities are strategically planned and executed
- Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing promotions across all channels, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing calendar and strategic priorities
- Work closely with the Vendor Relations team to present the impact of our marketing programs on the brands they manage, demonstrating the value and effectiveness of our promotional strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of promotional activities, maximizing the impact of our marketing efforts
- New Product Launches:
- Lead the marketing strategy for new product launches, ensuring effective promotion across social media, through strategic brand alliances, and influencer partnerships
- Collaborate with product teams to develop and execute launch plans that drive awareness and sales
- Cross-Channel Coordination:
- Ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all marketing channels, including social media, email, website, and paid advertising
- Partner with the creative team to produce high-quality marketing materials that support strategic initiatives and brand alliances
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, brand partnerships, influencer marketing, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Proven success in developing and managing strategic brand alliances, social media strategies, and influencer relationships
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and project management skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, with a deep understanding of current trends and best practices
