As a Content Creator & Community Manager, you will be working alongside our team on the full social management and content creation of a beloved, national restaurant brand. You will be the eyes, ears and voice of the brand on social – in partnership with our Snr Social Strategist, Integrated Strategist and Creative team, you will build an overarching strategy and content approach for various social platforms, then create both planned and reactive content in line with it as well as manage and engage with the community.

The right candidate will have a deep understanding of social platform best practices, trends and updates, as well as be immersed in broader culture and able to move and respond to the zeitgeist. This is a strategic and creative role – both in ability to think that way as well as output the creation of content. Candidates that have experience in ideating, shooting native social content and able to edit video are strongly preferred.

We’d love to see evidence how you’ve built social followings for other brands – or even have built your own notable social following, brand and voice.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • The ideal candidate has an impeccable attention to detail, great judgement, highly creative and excellent writing skills
  • Must have a knowledge and love of internet culture and digital video landscape (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), the unique elements of each social platform, and what makes channel growth successful
  • Ability to take a content concept from ideation to execution – inclusive of capturing and editing content
  • Experience in reporting to detect trends, insights, and optimizations to grow social channels and brand conversation
  • Organized, proactive and collaborative with ability to toggle between analytical and creative mindsets
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative environment (within your own team, with various clients, and with other teams at Iris)
  • Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead presentations effectively

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in the development and implementation a community management playbook, that aligns with goals, efficiency, creativity and audience engagement
  • Manage communities daily through being the voice of the brand, cultivating brand love and building awareness through refining tailored responses for audience engagement
  • Proactively identify opportunities and build plans for content and campaign creation by joining in on conversation or trends
  • Stay on top of the latest updates and trends to inform content strategy
  • Engage, resolve and facilitate online questions and concerns accordingly
  • Create social content for TikTok and other social channels and comfortable coming up with ideas, filming and editing videos
  • Conduct ongoing content and social listening reports to detect insights and optimizations for content performance
