Position: Social Media Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead and execute True Classic's organic social media strategy across all customer touchpoints. In this role, you will shape and refine our brand’s social presence, ensure consistency across platforms, and actively engage with our community. You will collaborate with content creators to expand our reach and influence across key social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more. All of True Classic’s roles are global and omni-channel, giving you the opportunity to impact our worldwide operations and build a cohesive strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Areas of Accountability

  • Strategy Development:
  • Lead the development and execution of social media strategies across all channels, focusing on audience growth, engagement, and alignment with broader brand campaigns and product launches. Drive consistent social media messaging that resonates with a diverse audience while enhancing True Classic's brand presence.
  • Content Creation & Scheduling:
  • Collaborate with the Creative, Video, and Design teams to produce engaging and original content, including photos, videos, stories, and reels, that reflect True Classic’s voice. Manage a consistent content calendar that aligns with business objectives and marketing initiatives.
  • Content Creator Collaboration:
  • Identify and build relationships with content creators who align with True Classic’s aesthetic and values. Work with these creators to generate organic content that enhances our brand's presence across social media channels, ensuring a cohesive look and feel.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and direct messages, and foster a vibrant online community. Utilize social listening tools to monitor customer feedback and emerging trends, and proactively incorporate insights into content strategies.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization:
  • Analyze and report on social media performance using data-driven insights to optimize content for better engagement, growth, and conversion. Provide regular updates on KPIs and adjust tactics to continually improve social media performance.
  • Trend Spotting & Platform Innovation:
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, identify new opportunities, and experiment with innovative ways to engage audiences. Ensure True Classic is utilizing the latest platform features to amplify reach and drive engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Creative, and Brand teams to ensure social media content supports larger brand campaigns, product launches, and sales initiatives. Coordinate closely with the performance marketing team to ensure cohesion between organic and paid social efforts.
  • Campaign Activation:
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to support key marketing initiatives. Partner with the creative team to align on campaign visuals, copy, and storytelling, ensuring all content is on-brand and delivers on strategic objectives.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing social media platforms for a consumer brand, ideally in e-commerce or fashion.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content creation, especially short-form video (TikTok, Reels) and image-based storytelling (Instagram).
  • Experience working with content creators to generate organic content that aligns with brand identity and objectives.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later).
  • Proven ability to drive engagement and audience growth on social platforms, backed by data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a deep understanding of brand voice and storytelling.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferences

  • Experience in the apparel or fashion industry.
  • Understanding of digital advertising and emerging social media trends.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and DTC brands.

Work Environment:

This is a local position based in Agoura Hills, CA, you will be expected to come in 2-3 days a week to work closely with our creative and marketing teams. We provide the necessary tools to ensure a productive and collaborative work experience.

Compensation and Benefits:
