About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Creative Strategist to lead the planning and strategy for our organic and paid campaigns across channels. This role involves collaborating with teams cross-functionally, identifying actionable insights from cost and data analysis, and ensuring effective communication between business leaders. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable overseeing multiple projects with competing deadlines across copy-writing, ideation, and strategy for email marketing, paid advertisements, and organic social media initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Ideation : Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with brand objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Team Collaboration: Facilitate briefings between creative, digital, and product teams to ensure alignment and cohesion in campaign execution.
  • Ad Creative Briefing & Analysis: Use data to generate more winnings ads that scale ad spend—and drive revenue
  • Strategic Reporting: Prepare and present reports on campaign performance and strategic recommendations to business leaders, highlighting insights and areas for improvement.
  • Copy-writing Oversight: Manage and guide copy-writing efforts to ensure an authentic and consistent brand tone of voice across all channels, including email, paid ads, and organic social media.
  • Ideation and Strategy: Brainstorm to generate fresh ideas and strategies for marketing campaigns, focusing on engaging content and effective messaging.
  • Organizational : Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns from conception to launch, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior to inform marketing strategies and decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing analytics, campaign strategy and execution.
  • Passion for Sundae School’s brand and products.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including email, PPC, and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.) and their algorithms.
  • Familiar in using collaboration tools (e.g. Google Drive, Airtable, Slack, Frame.io)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong communication, writing, and editing skills with a keen understanding of social media voice and tone.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and reporting software to assess campaign performance.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

Bonus Points:

  • Proficiency in briefs and deck creation.
  • Comfortable being on camera.
  • Proactive with asking questions.
  • Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut).
  • Knowledge of SEO and social media advertising.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing strategies.

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.

Range: $65-75k annualized, Monthly Retainer
