As a Senior Demand Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our demand marketing strategies to drive revenue and growth. You will leverage your extensive experience to lead cross-functional projects and guide the strategic vision for marketing initiatives that align with Shopify's ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns that help us acquire new business
- Collaborate heavily with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Creative, FED, Data Science, RevOps, Sales, and channel teams to develop thoughtful, integrated multichannel programs
- Create and manage customer segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize the buyer’s journey and key integrated campaign outcomes
- Create scalable programs that generate and nurture leads
- Oversee all of the campaign tactics used to acquire and nurture leads into long-term merchants
- Ensure timely deployment of initiatives and campaigns by managing stakeholders, budgets, timelines and processes
- Participate in sales pipeline meetings to ensure appropriate insight is gathered to optimize MQL to SA transition and address challenges in pipeline progression to help teams move leads and accounts through the pipeline efficiently
- Regularly analyze campaign data and key performance metrics (MQLs, SQLs, SALs, C/W, Conversion, etc.) to measure effectiveness, use insights to optimize performance and maximize ROI
- Communicate learnings and results with all stakeholders on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cadence
Qualifications
- Experience: Extensive hands-on experience in demand marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment, with a strong track record in marketing revenue-focused roles
- Skills: Exceptional time management, prioritization, and project management skills, ability to resolve ambiguity, make quick decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across sales, marketing, product, and finance teams
- Data Proficiency: Skilled in marketing automation, A/B testing, data analysis, and comfortably utilizing CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Results Orientation: Demonstrated ability to set goals and consistently outperform past achievements
- Mindset: Solutions-oriented approach with a readiness to take initiative in driving collaborative and rapid decision-making
