We are seeking a Social Media Associate, with a focus on Community Management & Content Creation, to join our Consumer Engagement team. This person will be responsible for assisting with social media content development, content planning and posting, monitoring and moderating engagement on Ideal Image’s Organic Social, as well as supporting with any ad-hoc team needs. The Social Media Associate will interact daily with the Ideal Image community – both reactively and proactively – ensuring that every interaction is engaging, informative, and on-brand, helping to cultivate an engaged and supportive online community.
Responsibilities

Community Management:
- Manage overall engagement and responses of posts, comments, paid ads and direct messages on social media and review sites using platforms like Sprout Social
- Recommend and execute proactive Community Engagement strategies to drive engagement with community members, and solicit positive interactions
- Represent the Ideal Image brand voice when engaging with the community
- Respond to user requests, questions, and feedback in a timely manner, including supporting with potential negative scenarios during non-work hours and escalating issues as needed (to Client Support or Clinic teams)
- Stay up to date on Ideal Image brand, products, and processes to ensure all responses are accurate, helpful, and align with brand standards
- Identify and share trends, hot topics, user feedback, and other intelligence gained via the community, and recommend improvements to the overall client experience (including products, processes, etc.)
- Assist with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on community insights and performance for organic and paid social, including evergreen posts, brand campaigns and promotions
Social Content Creation:
- Ideate, develop, refine and execute social media content for use across various channels (IG, FB, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Design social-forward assets (using Canva or Adobe Design programs) to support monthly social calendar needs including promotions, holidays, product launches and more
- Edit together (using programs such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro) short-form and/or long-form videos for social platforms supporting brand campaigns, promotions, launches and more
- Capitalize on social video trends by creating unique content highlighting our portfolio of services and team members
- Attend social media content shoots locally and potentially travel to other clinics to support with shoots
- Work with Social Media Manager and Influencer Marketing Senior Manager to help cast and manage talent for Organic Social shoots
- Capture content at company events for social media sharing (ex: clinic events, brand events, etc.)
- Support with monthly, quarterly and annual social media reporting including data pulling, insights/trends, performance, highlights, etc.
- Stay up to date on Ideal Image brand, products, promotions and processes to guide content development
- Assist with competitive research projects, audits, etc. and stay up-to-date with social trends and competitors to share trending/relevant content creations ideas
Social Reporting & Analytics:
- Support Social Media Manager with social & community analytics and reporting (real time, monthly and quarterly)
Ad-Hoc Team Needs:
- Support Consumer Engagement team with any additional tasks as needed (Social, PR, Influencer, etc.)
- Support Content & Reputation Social Associate with Reviews Management when needed
Qualifications

Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- Social content creation experience is a must, specifically video content experience
- Community and reputation management experience
- Prior experience monitoring discussions and/or community managing in an online platform
Technical or Administrative Knowledge:
- Experience with social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn as well as reviews sites like Google & Yelp, etc.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe Design Programs, CapCut, etc.
- Familiarity with management platforms such as Sprout and Reputation.com is a plus
