Summary

Universal Yums is seeking a Growth Creative Strategist to help ideate, concept, and script high-performing paid ad content for social media platforms across Meta, Tiktok, Youtube and other advertising platforms. This is a full-time, fully remote position that is best for a results-driven, self-starter, who likes working both collaboratively and independently.

Your role sits at the intersection of media buying, creator partnership, and production teams. While it's important to be able to think critically and logically, with a knack for data analysis, you will also need to bring your own unique sense of human curiosity to develop new ideas with other Creative Strategists. The ideal candidate has had some prior experience with marketing, digital media, or paid ads and is open to learning from a team that has produced millions of dollars worth of ads.

This role is remote with strong preference for candidates in the East Coast reporting to our Growth Creative Strategy Lead

Role Responsibilities

Generate insights to drive growth

  • Conduct market research and campaign performance analysis to inform creative direction.
  • Develop tests and hypotheses to derive learnings on what’s working creatively and why.
  • Ability to refine creative best practices incrementally while also willing to take strategic creative risks to drive accelerated growth

Collaborate with the creative & marketing team to ensure ideas translate effectively into video

  • Brainstorm and develop creative ad concepts that align with performance goals.
  • Script engaging, thumb-stopping content for social media ads.
  • Work with the influencer team to produce highly effective advertising campaigns.
  • Work with creators & customers to bring your creative ideas to life.
  • Work closely with the video creative team to innovate & create highly effective in-house filmed footage

Required Experiences & Skills

  • Pursuing or recently earned a degree in marketing, communications, film and media, psychology, creative media, or a related field.
  • Experience with digital marketing channels (Tiktok, Instagram Reels, Youtube), social media platforms, and content marketing preferred
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging, clear and conversion-driven ad scripts.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion and curiosity for digital media, content creation, food, and human psychology.
