Bugaboo North America is a fully remote, highly collaborative team with members across North America. There will be some travel once per quarter for strategic planning sessions as well as a yearly in-person team event.
Who are you?
Bugaboo North America is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our team to further grow and develop our localized brand presence on social media and expand our local community through influencer marketing. This person will have a flair for finding, identifying and telling good stories – plus a good understanding of marketing principles and the ability to work alongside our sales and marketing team to tell those stories. This person will have experience in and a true passion for growing and optimizing all brand social media channels from Instagram to Facebook to TikTok and beyond.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with our Brand Marketing Director and other key stakeholders across the company to curate and expand our social media and influencer marketing presence in North America. You must understand corporate goals, target audiences and conceptualize, plan and execute branded social media marketing campaigns in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Create and execute the Bugaboo North America social media calendar to drive awareness, build community and increase engagement
- Concept consistent content by social channel and manage content (generate, edit, publish and share) in a consistent, premium voice that encourages engagement
- Coordinate messaging with key marketing & sales team members to ensure consistency
- Partner with key retailers to expand brand reach to their audience
- In partnership with Graphic Designer, develop creative concepts and briefs to ensure consistency and quality of brand message in copy and visual assets through social
- Identify and manage influencers (Bugaboo brand ambassadors) to create a local community and drive ongoing UGC lifestyle content
- Establish goals, analyze and track performance with focus on continuous improvement
- Report weekly & monthly high-level analytics, qualitative & quantitative findings on all channels
- Leverage qualitative & quantitative findings to drive local creative and social media strategy optimizations
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Marketing, Digital, Sales and Global HQ to ensure key partners and initiatives are featured throughout social and that relevant partner initiatives are supported by brand
- Keep abreast of consumer and competitive trends, identifying any necessary action steps
- Leverage data, out of the box thinking and an A/B testing mentality to maximize reach, impact and ultimately sales
What will you bring to the table?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field and 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing
- Experience using social media management tools such as Bazaarvoice Vibe and Sprout Social to measure, track and improve social media metrics and schedule content across platforms
- Experience with video editing in regard to organic social media to format for Reels and TikTok
- Creative thinker with outstanding storytelling and creative messaging skills
- Experience with premium brands or within consumer product industry – baby, functional product, or luxury experience a plus
- Experience working in an international environment and cross-disciplinary project teams; you are a strong communicator and relationship builder
- Data-driven, creative mindset with excellent analytic capabilities
- Clear and confident communicator- strong writing, editing, proofreading, skills are essential
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Values accountability and has the ability to work independently
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of current trends in social media and influencer marketing
- Highly collaborative

Compensation
Pursuant to applicable state regulation regarding pay transparency, Bugaboo discloses the following compensation details for this position: the annual base salary range for this position is $52,150 - $74,500; contingent on the applicant’s relevant experience, education, job-related knowledge, skills and other qualifications, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
