PLEASE APPLY HERE: https://bit.ly/ElixSocialBrand... are seeking a social media guru, creative storyteller and digital marketer to own the brand’s social media strategy and support overall brand marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for the creation and management of content and campaigns across all social channels to empower people to discover the healing potential of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Eastern Wellness practices.

Some Challenges You’ll Tackle:

  • Oversee content creation across all channels, including but not limited to organic social (Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc), paid advertising, print, activations, educational events, etc.
  • Continue to develop the visual identity as the brand grows, communicating it to freelancers and collaborators
  • Assist in the creation of a holistic content strategy (in collaboration with the VP of Marketing and full marketing team) to engage our community across organic and paid channels, inspiring people to tune in to the signals of our bodies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with external partners to identify opportunities for new social media campaigns based on Elix community member needs and questions; identify opportunity to launch new channels based on marketing strategy, priorities and ROI
  • Spearhead the organic social strategy and process from ideation to execution for all Elix campaigns, incorporating current industry best practices
  • Support the paid creative funnel, managing the full process from ideation to content creation. Collaborate with internal and external growth partners to ensure the most effective and branded content is being created for paid campaigns
  • Mentor Elix’s Marketing Assistant, clearly outlining needs and communicating growth opportunities
  • Oversee Elix’s Content Creator Program, project managing UGC creators across campaigns and developing content briefs that deliver upon program goals and KPIs.
  • Develop a content approach that taps into community feedback and leans into Elix educational pillars while identifying on-brand content opportunities across organic channels
  • Track, measure and report on ROI of organic social, influencer and paid efforts to guide future strategies that deliver upon marketing KPIs.
  • Monitor community engagement across social media channels, raising key comments and DMs alongside insights to the larger team

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Social Media Savvy - obsessed with social trends, actively stays up to date on how content and community efforts are evolving and able to stay ahead of the curve on Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc
  • Visual Storytelling - able to create content that unites the visual brand with community driven initiatives
  • Positive & Proactive Communication - exudes positive energy, confidence, and professionalism; can identify potential roadblocks impacting our goals; able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written with attention to detail
  • Organization - exceptional organizational skills with experience in Asana and Google Sheets
  • Proactive Problem Solving & Growth Mindset - able to proactively anticipate needs and use sound judgment while demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude with desire to take on additional responsibilities
  • Has the ability to drive performance against sets of measurable KPIs – identifying areas of opportunity and trends when benchmarking performance or pitching new ideas.
  • Experienced with project management platform (eg, Asana) and social media management tools
  • Passionate about health + wellness, interest in Chinese Medicine is a plus!
  • Has 4-5+ years of experience working in a relevant role at a brand, agency or media outlet known in the creative, media, consumer and/or wellness space
  • Located in NYC Metro area and able to work in person 4-6 days a month
