Saban Music Partners LLC
Los Angeles, CA, USA ⚠ [Archived] No Longer Accepting Applicants
Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 Annually

POSITION SUMMARY:

Saban Music Partners is seeking a creative, strategic, and proactive Social Media Content Creator or Consultant to ideate, capture, edit, and publish compelling digital content that authentically represents an Artist’s brand while aligning with the broader marketing goals of SMP and Black Box. This flexible role may be structured as a full-time employment position or as a consultant engagement, depending on the candidate’s experience and availability.

You will work closely with the General Manager, Artist, and marketing team to maintain a consistent and impactful social media presence through engaging daily content. Ideal candidates are passionate about music, fluent in pop culture and social media trends, and experienced in storytelling through short-form video across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

The ability to travel—both domestically and internationally—is strongly preferred, as content capture may be needed on the road and during key Artist events or promotional appearances.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate directly with the Artist, General Manager, and marketing team to ideate and produce engaging social media content daily.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar in alignment with marketing strategies from SMP and Black Box.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute creative shoots and scheduled content days.
  • Capture real-time, behind-the-scenes footage of the Artist’s activities, including studio sessions, events, and personal moments.
  • Edit and enhance videos (color grading, captions, formatting) using tools like CapCut and platform-native editors.
  • Craft compelling captions and ensure all content reflects the Artist's voice and brand.
  • Monitor trends, formats, and audios across social platforms and present weekly recommendations.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly marketing meetings to ensure alignment across content priorities.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and travel for local shoots.
  • Domestic and international travel strongly preferred.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Based in Los Angeles and available for in-person content shoots.
  • A deep passion for music and an understanding of the entertainment industry.
  • Highly knowledgeable about pop culture, digital storytelling, and social media best practices.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Previous experience working directly with artists or public figures is a plus.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel is a strong plus.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in filming using iPhones and DSLR (or similar) cameras.
  • Strong editing skills with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or native app features.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills—especially for social copywriting.
  • Up-to-date understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube algorithms, and engagement strategies.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple content streams and deadlines.
  • Existing creative network (videographers, editors, collaborators) is a bonus.
