Description
Media/PR:
- Help execute impactful, strategic communication and launch plans that are aligned with overall business objectives
- Develop and manage editorial and product launch calendar to generate editorial coverage for the brand across all forms of media
- Manage PR materials including press releases, media alerts, pitches, artistry/education tips and other relevant items including regional adaptations and net new development of these materials, when necessary
- Oversee and manage evergreen product mailings for press and VIPs/influencers
- Support PR team in event planning and execution logistics for all events (e.g., press/VIP/influencer events, brand trips, consumer experiential activations, etc.)
- Manage US press contact list on a continuing basis
Influencer And Social Engagement
- Identify and cultivate relationships with high-impact influencers (including fashion/lifestyle influencers, MUAs, celebrities, athletes, musicians) across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms to build brand relevance and drive engagement
- Assist in the development of strategic influencer programs and that include organic gifting/seeding including custom mailers and paid partnerships; Lead the execution of some programs based on budget level
- Assist in the execution of influencer programs including influencer identification, contract negotiation, product briefs, Q&As, product mailings, outreach and follow up and campaign tracking to maximize earned media value (EMV)
- Work with digital/advertising and 360-marketing teams on specific paid social programs and leveraging influencer content across paid media to maximize results
- Engage with regional marketing, ecomm, education teams in the development of 360-degress storytelling campaigns
- Analyze influencer content performance to optimize future strategies, ensuring alignment with brand KPIs and evolving digital trends.
- Keep a pulse on the influencer landscape and influencer engagement by key competitors to support innovative and engaging influencer and communications
Internal Operations & Communications
- Work in partnership with the PR Manager and Director to develop reports on campaign results
- Manage reporting tools and PR dashboards to track brand KPIs on an ongoing basis
- Manage product forecasts and orders for all mailers/gifting and ensure necessary inventory to support corresponding PR and influencer initiatives and programs
- Organize PR files, maintain PR supplies and PR sample inventory, and manage product send outs
- Liaise with internal, cross-functional and external teams for end-to-end support of PR and influencer specific initiatives and programs
Finance
- Track and maintain budget, and lead vendor coordination
- Ensure internal finance trackers are up to date with latest media investment spends
- Manage Passport projections & actualization entries for all paid media
- Own POs and invoice resolutions
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field
- 2+ years professional related marketing or communications experience such as public relations influencer marketing, digital/social media marketing with a passion for the beauty industry
- Deep knowledge and passion for digital social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and emerging trends in AI, social commerce and beauty technology
- Foundational understanding of the editorial/media landscape across online, social, print and TV; Existing press and direct influencer/influencer agency relationships a plus
- Experience in VIP and consumer event planning from ideation to execution
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation-based communication skills with an ability to craft compelling audience-based narratives
- Team player with a positive, solutions first mindset and ability to build and foster collaborative relationships with a range of team members and organizational stakeholders
- Ability to own and manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with proactive, un-prompted follow through
- Creative thinker that shares big ideas grounded in insights observed/inspired by the cosmetics industry, fashion trends, pop culture and social media
- Ability to engage with senior executives and/or external media and influencers with authority and confidence
- Excellent computer and technical skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint) with an eye for detail and style are an absolute must; Experience with monitoring platforms, particularly Tribe Dynamics and Launchmetrics are a plus
Pay Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $64,350.00 to $93,250.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
