What You'll Get To Do
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Senior Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our online presence. This role involves developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, analyzing performance metrics, and engaging with our audience across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, understands current trends, and has experience optimizing content for different social media channels.
- Responsible for creating, managing, and publishing content across our brand's social media accounts, developing strategies to increase engagement and reach, and engaging with the online community.
- Develop and implement social media editorial content plan to engage target audiences & industry experts through a cadence of daily posts across all relevant social channels and platforms.
- Collaborate on implementation of strategic plans with stakeholders to deploy campaigns on social media and foster relationships with our influencer community.
- Initiate planning sessions with Panasonic SMEs to create curated monthly content calendars that support the overall Panasonic brand strategy as well as provide business value for individual sales companies.
- Manage the social asset creation process and the day-to-day execution of social media posts while ensuring “social voice” messaging & assets are on brand, accurate, relevant and engaging.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends across platforms and share timely content ideas to capitalize on current trends and momentum.
- Establish key benchmarks/ KPIs for measuring the impact and effectiveness of social media efforts.
- Establish and share best practices across the enterprise.
- Responsible for ongoing community management partnering with internal PR Team on reputation / crisis management responses.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education And Experience
- BA in Communication, Marketing or related field
- 5-7 years of social media experience including hands-on management of LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok
- In-depth knowledge of today’s top social platforms and best practices
- Strong track record of developing a successful social editorial strategy including experience building editorial calendars, writing content, and creating content and campaigns across social platforms
- Demonstrated experience using social monitoring, publishing & listening tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc.)
- Fundamental understanding of social communication and messaging, preferably in a B2B environment

The wage range of $95,000 - $110,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
