eCommerce - Audience Growth and Engagement Manager

The Manager of Audience Growth & Engagement is responsible for providing strategic direction and execution for expanding reach and demand, increasing audience engagement, and driving web traffic across all brands under the Safariland / Cadre Holdings portfolio.

This role will develop and implement data-driven strategies to attract new customers, strengthen brand loyalty, and optimize performance across all digital marketing channels, ensuring seamless integration between digital, social, paid media, content, influencer partnerships, and e-commerce. By aligning audience growth efforts across the entire marketing ecosystem, this position will play a key role in enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for audience acquisition, engagement, and retention across all Safariland and Cadre Holdings websites.
  • Develop and optimize paid media strategies (search, social, and display advertising) to drive brand awareness, traffic, and conversions.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts—paid, owned, and earned—work together to create a cohesive and engaging customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to align brand storytelling, content, and digital engagement initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Work closely with e-commerce, marketing, creative, product, and customer service teams to ensure brand alignment and a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Support budget development and resource allocation, ensuring marketing efforts are optimized for maximum impact.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on scaling audience growth strategies.
  • Develop and integrate strategies for influencer, affiliate, ambassador, and sponsorship programs that align with brand objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in audience growth, digital engagement, or paid media strategy.
  • Experience in the tactical, outdoor, or firearms industry required.
  • 3-5 years DTC Ecommerce experience required.
  • Expertise in audience and brand growth with a track record of driving measurable results.
  • Experience managing multiple brands and tailoring strategies for distinct audiences.
  • Strong storytelling skills across multiple channels.
  • A Data-drive mindset with focus on testing, optimization and continuous improvement
  • Should enjoy solving complex problems and are able to work independently
  • Stay up-to-date on standards, best practices and current strategies
  • Highly effective communication skills

Possess strong organizational and time management skills

10 years people management experience

Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Ability to manage complexity and navigate through change in a dynamic business environment.
