Corporate Communications Manager

CBRE
Washington, D.C., USA ⚠ [Archived] No Longer Accepting Applicants
Compensation: $110,000 to $120,000 Annually

About The Role:

As a CBRE Corporate Communications Manager, you will support CBRE’s Advisory Services business by developing and executing effective strategies for internal communications, media outreach, and social media for several key markets, with a specific focus on internal communications in the Mid-Atlantic market.

The ideal candidate must be a strong writer and have a validated background in developing internal communications content to support leadership strategies. They must also have experience pitching newsworthy stories to the local media and amplifying content on social media.

Candidates should be full of ideas and energy—able to take a variety of information, data, and thought leadership content and build compelling storylines that will resonate with employees internally and with news media across verticals, including commercial real estate.

Candidates must be able to work seamlessly with a highly motivated group of professionals across the Corporate Communications team and CBRE matrix, and to build and execute on opportunities that position our organization and our professionals as experts and leaders with vision.

The position is based in the region and reports to the Director of Corporate Communications. Travel to key CBRE offices within the region may be vital a few times throughout the year.

What You'll Do:

* Support the development and execution of a solid and measurable Corporate Communications internal communications strategy for the Mid-Atlantic market and other key markets that align with the business goals of the leadership team.
* Develop and write internal communications content (i.e., newsletters, memos, employee events) and external communications (i.e., press releases, bylined articles, award submissions, social media content).
* Position CBRE as a leader in key conversations in world-class local and trade publications and on LinkedIn.
* Champion strong and lasting reporter relationships across relevant media targets and maintain ongoing dialogue that leads to opportunities for our organization and our professionals.
* Draft and submit award submissions, working closely with local leadership to determine nominees for awards programs. These can be both internal CBRE awards, as well as external awards.
* Other duties may be assigned.
