About The Role
Later is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team, a role designed for a true social media enthusiast. This individual will be responsible for content creation and community engagement, ensuring our clients' brands maintain a strong and dynamic presence across all major social platforms. The role demands creativity, fast execution, and a deep understanding of social media trends. As a Social Media Manager, you will be key to crafting innovative campaigns, building relationships with the community, and driving engagement across channels.
Responsibilities
- Monitor social media trends, memes, and moments to craft real-time, brand-appropriate responses.
- Develop and execute social-first content strategies across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts, etc.
- Lead and manage social media shoots from concept to completion.
- Engage and grow the community by responding to users in brand voice(s) and building relationships.
- Partner with internal teams to integrate social strategies with influencer campaigns for seamless executions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create innovative content ideas and ensure they resonate with target audiences.
- Manage social media performance and use data insights to refine strategies and report on results.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a Social Media Manager or Community Manager role, with a focus on content creation and community engagement.
- Proven experience managing and growing a social media presence for a large B2C brand.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
- Comfort in analyzing social media performance data to adjust strategies and report on impact.
- Passion for social media trends and a deep understanding of internet culture.
- Ability to think creatively and develop fresh content ideas.
- Experience with social media management tools such as Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
