Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary The Digital Content Creator will play a key role in producing high-quality content for the college’s digital platforms. This position requires close collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and visuals that align with the college’s brand and objectives. Responsibilities include producing engaging multimedia content, such as videos, graphics, social media posts, and other digital assets to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of digital media trends. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Production, or related field ; OR Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Production, or related field with two years of experience in a related role.
  • Experience in marketing as a Digital Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
  • Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends as needed for College events
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and marketing best practices
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment, Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Apple iOS, design programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Photography and videography experience.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling abilities.
  • Knowledge of web analytics (Google Analytics, online reporting dashboards).
Other Information Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Plan and execute graphics and content for paid digital media campaigns.
  • Create eye-catching graphics and visuals for digital platforms using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Canva.
  • Write engaging captions, social posts, website, and ad copy to align with brand messaging.
  • Shoot, edit, and produce video content for brand storytelling.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the college’s branding, tone, and style guidelines.
  • Work closely with marketing team to develop content strategies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging platforms, and viral content strategies.
  • Optimize content for search engines and analyze engagement metrics to improve performance.
  • Attend campus events as assigned to grab colleterial assets for future use.

3. The visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field vision. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

4. The conditions the employee will be subject to in this position. The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
