G/FORE is now seeking a Marketing Assistant who is passionate about marketing, social media, and is looking to “get a foot in the door” at an exciting, growing company. The Marketing Assistant will be supporting all key activities of the Marketing department. This position will be tasked with learning our brand voice, and will assist in managing all wholesale marketing efforts including daily engagement with our social media channels, communicating with our external tour players, partners, and agencies and supporting requests from our Sales team. Additionally, this role will provide general office support for the LA office. The Marketing Assistant needs to be able to manage time effectively, learn quickly and be willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle tasks both large and small. This role will be part of a collaborative team and will work to advance the brand’s marketing channels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Help with daily management and engagement of all social media accounts, including weekends
  • Manage and help grow our FORE/Casters ambassador programs
  • Assist with sponsored player outfitting and daily communications as directed
  • Maintain superior communication and help build brand relationships with key marketing contacts, wholesale accounts and consumers as needed
  • Manage the G/FORE Portal and edit seasonally
  • Attend tournaments, trunk shows, photoshoots and other events as needed
  • Learn and understand basics of our product and inventory system, Blue Cherry, including reading inventory levels and order entry
  • Enter all promo and player/influencer orders
  • Assist in all aspects of PGA tradeshows and other regional shows as needed
  • Help plan special events including; activation parties, company dinners, sales meetings, etc. as needed
  • Work with US Sales Director and Marketing team on partner Newsletter schedule
  • Provide general office administration support including; supply stocking, cleaning schedule, ordering lunch, booking executive travel and other duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES:

  • Extremely proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Detail oriented; strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to maintain and build effective relationships with a cross-functional team
  • Effective at working in a team environment while managing individual priorities and duties efficiently
  • Be comfortable with building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA or BS, or equivalent, in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 1-2 years of related experience
