TikTok’s Monetization team needs a creative, high-EQ influencer marketing ninja who can bring every advertiser’s vision to life with exciting, memorable sponsored content. This hire will work under the Head of Content Monetization to support clients in various creator-driven initiatives. Our goal: make the world’s most entertaining short-form content available to advertisers and audiences alike.
Candidates must have experience working with social influencers in a commercial context and be prepared to explain how they coax the best work out of every influencer, every time. They should be equally comfortable answering questions on a campaign wrap with a brand manager as interacting with social stars on Zooms and group chats.
In this role you will...
• Research and pitch relevant influencers for TikTok advertiser campaigns and objectives
• Coordinate with Creator Partnerships team to guide creators in producing content deliverables to advertisers’ specs
• Support advertisers in their usage of TikTok’s creator insights tools
• Guide clients in best practices for working with TikTok creators and attaining campaign objectives
• Contribute to product reviews and product roadmap strategies for TikTok Creator Marketplace and other tools affecting TikTok’s creator partnerships
• Assist Legal and Operations team in creator contracting & payment process
Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant experience working with social influencers in an advertising context
• Direct experience supporting the advertising RFP process and understanding of common marketing tactics and objectives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across every relevant industry channel (phone, email, text, social DM, etc)
• Exceptional attention to detail and respect for process even when external circumstances are messy and unpredictable
• Entrepreneurial thinker who will recommend business improvements before being asked for fixes
• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Even better if...
• Experience working with influencer discovery or workflow platform(s)
• Experience presenting to brand and ad agency clients
• Experience creating content on TikTok platform
• Fluency in multiple languages (please indicate on resume or cover letter)
