We are seeking a savvy, experienced marketing professional, in a newly created role to develop, lead, and executive influencer marketing strategies, campaigns, and partnerships. This person will work with both existing and new products / sub-brands to elevate brand awareness and drive customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will be digital-savvy and have proven experience across social media and talent relations. The role will be working in a fast paced environment that offers an opportunity to be part of a rapidly-growing business and Freshly’s Growth Marketing team, reporting directly to the Director of Public Relations. Remote with future location in NYC office.

Responsibilities

  • Driving efficient performance that is tracked daily, weekly and monthly vs. aggressive growth and ROI targets
  • Developing targets and tools to build a pipeline of new influencers, criteria to evaluate / vet, strategy and supporting material / case studies to pitch and negotiate partnerships; including developing briefs to influencers on campaigns or supported company initiatives.
  • Leading identification of potential influencer partnerships for both paid and organic programs -- including fostering, building, and managing relationships across key curtails with a view to, cultivating new communities of influencers as well as new channel expansion opportunities to reach Freshly’s target customers and extend brand reach, bringing new people into Freshly
  • Managing product seeding programs: database management – inclusive of partnering with affiliate marketing team, creative mailer production, etc.
  • Developing creative ways to work with existing and new influencers to boost reach for Freshly and recommend new ways to innovate and enhance Freshly’s influencer marketing approach, staying on top of the latest trends
  • Leading influencer contract negotiations with talent management / influencer agencies, managing influencer discussions with internal legal and finance counterparts, in partnership with PR and Digital Growth Marketing teams
  • Managing content distribution across paid media and partner closely with our paid media and social teams driving a holistic marketing strategy
  • Maintaining a regular reporting schedule on outreach funnel and budget spend vs. growth and ROI targets, e.g., number of people contacted, in progress, closed, budget allocated MTD vs. target spend
  • Working closely with the broader marketing team to conceptualize, negotiate, sell-in and execute influencer marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborating with PR on content opportunities and leveraging influencer partners for earned media opportunities.

About You

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3-4 dedicated to influencer marketing, including in-house experience
  • Experience in direct influencer communication across all social platforms and managing influencer marketing campaigns within paid media
  • Strong cross-functional verbal and written communication skills – ability to effectively and efficiently communicate ideas
  • Drive to find innovative and effective ways to excite and engage influencers with an emphasis on scaling the program and building a community
  • Creative, curious, organized, problem-solver with an entrepreneurial and proactive spirit
  • Experience working with brands in the food, health, or wellness space preferred
  • Expert in both social platform and influencer nuances as it relates to strategy, influencer tiers and verticals.
  • Experience in influencer social analytics related to the selection and evaluation of influencers based on brief and campaign objectives.
  • Great time management skills, with the ability to multitask
