As we expand our footprint in the beauty space, we are seeking a visionary Director of Innovation to lead the discovery and development of next-generation products and trends within our Beauty Division.
The Director of Innovation, for Victoria Secret Beauty will spearhead the ideation and validation of breakthrough beauty and fragrance concepts that shape the future of the brand. This role sits at the intersection of trend forecasting, product strategy, consumer insights, and innovation pipeline development. The ideal candidate is a dynamic trend-spotter, consumer-first thinker, and cross-functional collaborator who can translate emerging insights into meaningful product opportunities

Your Impact
- Serve as a strategic connector across functions—working closely with Design, Packaging Engineering, Merchandising, PFD, and Supply Chain—to ensure innovative concepts are holistically developed, operationally feasible, and aligned to brand and consumer expectations.
- Identify and analyze current and emerging trends in beauty and fragrance across global markets, with a focus on TikTok, Instagram, and other trend-driving platforms.
- Partner with industry-leading trend forecasters and agencies to source inspiration and present innovative concepts tailored to brand DNA.
- Create and define whitespace opportunities in the beauty category, identifying new formats, usage occasions, and consumer benefits.
- Lead consumer insight research to validate product ideas, benefits, and claims using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Collaborate with internal teams to build product concepts tailored to key business segments and specific consumer demographics.
- Partner with the Product Formulation & Development (PFD) team to determine feasibility thresholds and criteria for moving concepts into development.
- Work closely with Regulatory and Legal teams to ensure all product concepts meet regulatory requirements and supportable claims.
- Attend and represent the brand at all major beauty industry events, including trade shows, innovation expos, and trend summits.
- Develop and share quarterly product and trend reports informed by social listening, influencer content, and cultural analysis across digital platforms.
- Partners with Merch & Design to create product briefs to share with PFD team to develop and execute.

Minimum Salary : $148,000.00
Maximum Salary : $209,790.00
VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in beauty innovation, product development, or trend forecasting; preferably within a fashion, beauty, or consumer lifestyle brand
- Strong understanding of beauty and fragrance category dynamics, including product formats, consumer behavior, and market whitespace
- Proven ability to synthesize data, trends, and insights into actionable strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional partners at all levels
- Passion for beauty, creativity, and consumer-centric innovation
- Willingness to travel for industry events and research immersion
