Jellysmack is seeking a Director of Creator Business Strategy to build out the company’s unique positioning within the Creator Marketing space. This person will be responsible for elevating our brand presence and partnerships within the ecosystem, developing a Creator Marketing strategy from the ground up, as well as identifying areas of Creator growth and overall business opportunity.

The ideal candidate is always up-to-date on the latest marketing trends, a fast-paced go-getter, business-savvy, and a data-driven marketer. They must be obsessed with the ever-changing Creator industry and have a passion for data, social media and cutting edge technologies.

This position will report into the Head of Brand Partnerships and requires cross-functional collaboration with our New York, Los Angeles, and Paris offices. Ideally, this individual will be located in New York or Los Angeles.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build out Jellysmack’s unique positioning in the Creator marketing space as a best in class content trend tool for clients and Creators
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Analytics and Creator Partnership teams to develop strategic narratives tailored to client business needs, and vertical opportunities to advance Jellysmack’s sales penetration with clients
  • Elevate the company's brand presence with clients to create new sales opportunities, including but not limited to newsletters, content trends, case studies, virtual and physical events
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for Creators and brand collaboration
  • Partner with the sales and analytics teams to market Jellysmack’s data offering as a best in class content trend tool for clients and Creators
  • Establish Jellysmack as the go-to partner for Creator growth and build new partnerships with creators and brands utilizing Creator tool kits, content recommendations and custom growth plans
  • Liaise with Creators and their agents to deepen Jellysmack’s partnerships and identify areas for Creator growth
  • Support the sales team in building out new opportunities for client growth, based on the fluctuation of the influencer marketing industry

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant Marketing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, in the social influencer space
  • Highly organized, with great attention to detail, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with applying technologies and data to guide storytelling
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Skilled at building and presenting decks; experience with Keynote is a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills
