Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Communications strategy for new business start-ups including the development of press materials, FAQs and live/virtual media and influencer activities
  • Work in an integrated manner with marketing colleagues to develop compelling written and visual content to be used across earned and owned media channels, with a firm understanding of key marketing principles
  • Use data and analytics to drive strategic communication strategies
  • Manage relationships with new and existing business partners
  • Bring a competitive-minded approach to a fast-moving growth space within the industry
  • Develop executive visibility plans and manage speaking / interview engagements for key executives
  • Work with GM Brand and Advanced Technology Communications teams to contribute to key GM corporate narratives including electrification, safety, and citizenship
  • Support major company events and news moments including media announcements, conferences and trade shows.
  • Demonstrate strong media relations and story-telling skills

Required

Additional Job Description

  • BA in communications or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience
