The Opportunity

As the Manager of Social Media and Influencer Relations, you will be responsible for building and growing One Kings Lane’s social media strategies and presence across key platforms and partnerships. You’ll be the lead player in translating key initiatives, launches, content and partnerships into creative and engaging social media plans that drive traffic, brand awareness and sales. You’ll ensure we maximize our already dedicated following and develop creative new ways to focus on engaging and expanding our audience, taking initiative to build unique social-driven campaigns and ongoing relationships with key influencers. You are a strong and innovative story-teller who is self-motivated and collaborative, with excellent written and visual skills.

This role will work remotely. Preferred locations are NY and eastern time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Build channel specific strategies including but not limited to what channels we should be on and where we see the most business impact in focusing our time.
  • Build and drive One Kings Lane presence across key social platforms
  • Strategize, develop and manage One Kings Lane influencer programs
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer and social audiences, and master our brand voice to convey key messages across channels
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to build meaningful social media plans to support business initiatives and grow our channels
  • Measure, analyze and report on goals and channel performance
  • Fully manage all organic social channels and work closely with Paid Marketing team to inform overall strategy
  • Develop, execute, track and analyze day-to-day content
  • Comfortable making and posting own content + partnering with creative team to have content made.

Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years managing social media accounts and campaigns for brands
  • Experience developing and executing a cohesive social content strategy across platforms
  • Experience working for a premium brand with a passion for retail and design
  • Knowledge of home and interior design language and trends
  • Solid understanding of the social marketing/media landscape
  • Analytical thinker with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Data-driven approach, using key metrics and analysis to lead programs and campaigns
  • Ability to work successfully with multiple business functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proven track record of driving results in a way that supports a brand strategy
  • Experience building a constructive working partnership with creative partners to develop ideas and bring them to life
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, innovative thinker, aggressive executor
  • PR experience a plus
