The Social Content Manager will create, publish and manage a content strategy to support our public relations, demand generation and sales across our social media. You will help architect a game plan that maps back to lead generation stages, builds Interfirst's credibility, captures interest on social media and helps the sales team engage with prospects. Your Opportunity

The Social Content Manager is a great communicator, writer, and project manager who understands how to manage their time and workload to expand our brand community in both B2C and B2B audiences. Our ideal candidate also understands the unique opportunities with each channel and has strategies for increasing audience and brand engagement, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. You will also own making the plan happen through direct execution or management of contract writers and designers. This role collaborates with marketing, demand generation, sales, operations and customer experience.

How You'll Make An Impact

The creativity to make social posts more sharable, findable and engaging is a different kind of skill, one that requires experience with trial/error. You are a good fit if you have published short-form to long-form content, managed content freelancers, and you know how to stay on top of related news, information, and events. The goal is to expand our social media audience over time, by publishing unique content and monitoring results.

  • Publish content through direct execution or contractors, including short videos, infographics, memes, blog posts, one-page briefs, e-books, white papers, PR articles, case studies, webinar presentations and more
  • Coordinate freelancer content creation and revision process. Provide strategic edits when reviewing other people’s content (both copy and concept edits) and curate images and other interactive content for each channel and the website
  • Manage our social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter Engage with the audience on each channel, seeking to identify content and posts that resonate with our target audience. Conduct polls, contests & other high-engagement content.
  • Create and maintain a publishing calendar, including campaigns and thought-leadership topics based on industry trends, product benefits and market opportunities.
  • Create compelling content that supports SEO efforts. Proactively and continually revise content, to optimize existing and new content to increase keyword rank
  • Engage influencers to broaden reach and create links back to Interfirst funnel, and expand Interfirst's communities while driving social conversations through proactive listening.
  • Measure and support marketing KPIs on engagement, sharing and thought leadership
  • Adhere to brand voice and editorial guidelines, follow compliance guidelines
  • Monitor social media content for individuals with material connections to Interfirst to ensure compliance, and monitor for broader mentions of Interfirst and related brands on social media

What’s Required To Succeed

  • 3+ years experience developing, managing and executing a social media content strategy
  • Track record of creating community engagement with social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Experience with publishing tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, etc., influencer monitoring tools like Klear, and with social media monitoring and management tools,like Sprinklr, Zignal
  • Boldness to pitch fresh ideas within the team, think creatively, and identify and solve problems
  • Experience creating short-form and long-form content defined above, a storyteller with excellent writing, grammar and proofreading skills
  • Ability to review and assess writing with a critical eye, including suggestions for improvement as well as keeping assets compelling and engaging
  • Able to interpret often complicated or industry-specific information and translate into digestible content; ability to interview subject matter experts, perform research on topics and tie hot news trends to new content
  • Proactive, Highly organized individual who pays deep attention to details and accuracy
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns
  • A continuous, curious learner, willing to learn technical concepts to support customer conversations
  • Grit: driven, self-motivated, resourceful, “can do” attitude, taking responsibility
  • Tech-savvy with experience in social media platforms, remote tools (e.g. Slack and G Suite), and online work processes
  • Experience working with and managing stakeholders and customers, across different teams
  • Process-driven, with attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills-- a productivity hacker
