We’re looking for an innovative leader that is entrepreneurial spirited and passionate about being a driver of results. Dynamic and growth oriented, this leader will be a trailblazer within the Company’s leadership team.

They must also have the passion and/ success in developing and mentoring a high performing Marketing Department. They will reinvent and own seven key functions that include:

  • Product Marketing
  • Content Strategy and Creation
  • Brand (external and internal) and Public Relations
  • Demand Generation - direct and channel
  • Analytics/Data, Technology and Market Research
  • Consumer/Customer Marketing
  • Corporate Communications

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Product Marketing: Develop a go-to-marketing strategy that drives the demand for our products and services within our current and potential targeted markets.
  • Content Strategy and Creation: Create, update and execute content to identified audiences, internal and external.
  • Brand and Public Relations: Identify the current perception of our business in the marketplace while partnering with relevant internal stakeholders in the development of our actual or desired perception. This will be accomplished through the ongoing activities of brand research, brand identify and positioning, brand rollout – internal and external, and speaking or industry engagements. In addition to managing the brand, this position will lead the company’s public relations efforts.
  • Demand Generation: Develop the tactual execution of bringing or enhancing our product and service offerings to market. This will be accomplished through marketing campaigns, website generation/SEO and social media/influencer marketing.
  • Analytics, Technology and Market Research: Create the ability to measure ROI. Using Analytics and technology will provide insights into what is driving results and what isn’t, thus making the efforts of our marketing team more apparent. We will look to the leader to create marketing scorecards, utilizing our CRM and/or identifying Marketing automation integrations and business intelligence tools.
  • Customer Marketing: Implementing a plan that continues to focus on current customers. This plan will strive to ensure strategies around positive customer experiences, customer retention and growth.
  • Corporate Communications: Develop and lead an internal communications plan across all departments and our 16 + offices/remote staff. Creating consistent and relevant communication that is centered around our internal employment brand.
  • This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or efforts associated with the position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications and/or related area of study.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive marketing experience; with at least 2 years of successful experience in leading a team and/or company’s marketing strategy.
  • Exceptional inter-personal skills with strong team leadership skills adept at successfully directing, influencing and integrating internal and external resources within a highly matrix environment.
  • Experience within Construction, Building Materials, Engineering/Architectural industries is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute innovative and results-focused marketing programs and campaigns consistent with marketing best practices as well as sound experience and success in leading digital channel marketing program and content development, including but not limited to site/search/social; general familiarity of Google Analytics.
  • Must have exceptional written, oral and presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Knowledge in creating a financial and/or department business plan.
