Social Community Manager - Los Angeles area:
This fun, innovative, forward-thinking Social Community Manager has a strong personal interest and proven experience with social media platforms with a focus on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, and YouTube. This role works within our Social team with a primary focus on the Cisco social account while integrating regularly with our Creative and Strategy teams on existing and new business projects. Part of this new role will be focused on servicing brand clients in the technology sector.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing detailed social posting calendars, including creative content descriptions and post copy.
- Posting, engaging, and scheduling creative content within platform while ensuring they are within the necessary social requirements.
- Act as the final checkpoint before copy and content get published, actively engaging in quality assurance and flagging necessary edits.
- Reviewing analytics reports to extrapolate insights and key learnings that can pivot creative strategies/concepts in real-time.
- Assisting in the execution of influencer outreach and fan engagement programs.
- Interfacing with Strategy, Social, and Production team members on day-to-day tasks, while making sure client requests and expectations are being met.
- Staying on top of current trends in the digital and social spheres.
- Participate in brainstorms by bringing unique content ideas and insights from social landscape.
- Develop content concepts that target key audiences through social and digital platforms.
- Support the building of creative strategies and copywriting pitch materials including conceptualizing creative themes.
- Create and maintain records of plans, schedules, and results
- Identify/suggest new ways to improve processes to help meet overall team, project, and client goals.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Holds a minimum of 2 years of Community Management experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented
- Display an ego-free personality that can work with a highly motivated team to get shit done
- Promote a culture of innovation and teamwork while adhering to agency process
- Always be punctual and effectively manage your time
- Strong copywriting and conceptual thinking
- Professional-level knowledge of social media trends and platforms
- Excellent research skills
- The ability to excel in a fast-paced and deadline focused environment that is driven to produce world-class creative
- Strong level of independence and efficiency
- Experience with technology-related fields is a plus
- Exhibits experience dealing with technology product development life cycle
- Considers themselves a subject matter expert and will help develop, translate and execute strategies for various products and services
- Experience live posting for branded events a plus
