Influencer Specialist with Paid Media Expertise
We’re looking for a stand-out influencer expert with paid media experience to sit within our New York-based digital team. Exposure across clients within the agency pending inclusion of influencer programming.
You’ll work in close collaboration with teams across the agency, focused on accounts across a range of verticals, including CPG, beauty & skincare, health & wellness, and food & beverage. This role provides the opportunity to imprint on influencer strategy and execution across a number of accounts, often serving as the executional lead during program activation.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead influencer programming for multiple clients, inclusive of all steps of a campaign – ideation, identification, outreach, negotiations/contracting, financial management, content approvals, content deployment strategy, amplification, and reporting
- Provide counsel both internally to engagement teams and externally to clients as a day-to-day partner, having a clear point of view on influencer best practices and how to efficiently pair with a paid media strategy
- Approach influencer programming through a paid lens, identifying opportunities to increase program performance through paid media amplification or leverage partners to create deliverables built with paid media best practices in mind while working closely with our paid lead
- Communicate and collaborate with internal agency partners/departments and external agency partners to ensure everyone is aligned on deliverables and expectations
- Address client issues thoughtfully and efficiently manage deliverables timelines
- Demonstrate practical and advanced understanding of social media and the digital landscape and how to incorporate into client programs
Skills and Experience:
We are searching for a strong candidate with 3-5 years of experience working in Influencer Marketing. We’re looking for someone who is both a self-starter and a team player who wants to join a thriving entrepreneurial agency. Experience must include (but is not limited to):
- Understands and can articulate influencer strategies from both an organic and paid perspective – can explain the differences between whitelisting, boosting, and dark posting and when to leverage each.
- Expertise managing/casting influencer programs across a wide range of influencers – from celebrities to micro-influencers.
- Familiar with influencer relationship management tools and ROI dashboards.
- Knowledge of usage rights, exclusivity, and basic contract terms, knowing how to prioritize them in contracting and negotiations.
- Execution of integrated influencer marketing campaigns.
- Strong relationships with influencer talent managers and agencies.
- Client management skills.
- Strong writing skills and deck design abilities.
