We have a key position open on our Marketing team.

We are looking for a passionate, innovative and collaborative team player who will join our team, as a Brand Marketing Manager. This individual should be passionate about music (especially Hip Hop, Reggaetón, and R&B), sneakers and sport culture. This individual will drive and execute key product storytelling and brand initiatives across all channels while maintaining integral internal and external processes. The Manager of Brand Marketing should possess experience in building campaigns and maintaining vendor relationships at a manager level. The Manager works closely with the buying, visual, production and digital teams to ensure the product vision is met with clear and concise messaging to drive traffic based on the campaigns. This exciting and fast-moving role is reliant on keen organization across media to create the narrative that speaks to our customers both in collaboration with vendors like Nike, Jordan, adidas, and UGG as well as advocating for custom campaigns for the Footaction brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive marketing programs reflective of brand strategy.
  • Manage vendor programs by collaborating with vendors and internal production and visual team for full funnel creative presentations.
  • Own and drive integration of programs across all channels
  • Support and program social media calendar
  • .com alignment & email calendar input
  • Loyalty/PR/integrated advertising
  • Develop and manage local opportunities/in-market promotion and influencer programs with the support of integrated marketing and operations.
  • Report on special projects ensuring updates are communicated.
  • Maintain files on vendor spending and provide analysis on program successes and challenges as well as campaign ROI, working with the social media team and event team as needed.
  • Recap all vendor focused events to internal and external brand partners.
  • Oversee the full retail experience including playlists, audio/video delivery, in-store signage and day to day maintenance.
  • Ensure alignment across all platforms including .com and mobile, connecting the in store and on-line brand stories to maintain the connection across platforms.
  • Create activations (pop up shops, appearances, etc.) by partnering with PR/brand connections/loyalty/events to enhance the customer experience.
  • In partnership with the local marketing managers, translate national marketing strategies into locally relevant campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working in marketing, advertising, brand or product management
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and aligning strategies across platforms.
  • Experience managing staff and vendor relationships.
  • In-store project management experience.
  • Deep understanding/passion/connection to and/or knowledge of music (especially Hip Hop, Reggaetón, R&B), sneaker, streetwear and overall youth culture, highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Ability to be creative and innovative
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • A self-driven, team player who takes the initiative
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a multitude of ongoing projects; while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Keynote a plus.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, a plus.
