JOB OVERVIEW

The Coordinator, Social Media is responsible for assisting in the implementation of social media strategies and deploying content across TravisMathew social channels to develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and cultivate leads and sales. Additionally, the Coordinator, Social Media will work with the content team to create original marketing content and copy.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing and executing social media and influencer strategies
  • Assist in developing social media and influencer campaigns
  • Assist in recruiting and securing social media influencers to promote the brand
  • Develop and maintain weekly social media and influencer schedule across all channels
  • Develop copy for company correspondence and website
  • Manage social media contests and fulfillment to increase email acquisition
  • Monitor and track performance metrics
  • Monitor conversations across all social media platforms and interact with audience when appropriate
  • Partner with internal graphics department to develop assets for social platforms
  • Develop relationships with partners to generate relevant social media content
  • Collaborate with content team to create a variety of product and marketing videos
  • Assist with development of creative concepts for content marketing initiatives

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications
  • Technical knowledge of social media platforms
  • Knowledge of long form narratives, social media cuts, short video products and snackable video content
  • Knowledge of live social production preferred
  • Knowledge of project management systems and file-sharing utilities
  • Strong social copy-writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and intuitive problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Highly motivated self-starter, who can comply with numerous deadlines and evolving priorities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in social media
