The Sage Group’s client, a California-based startup that uses AI to optimize ecommerce and retail websites automatically, in real-time, is searching for a social media native with a marketing focus to help them tell their story through the successes of their customers.

This role has equal parts social media marketing and customer marketing. The primary objective is to drive growth of the business by engaging more individuals from our client’s target accounts on LinkedIn, and converting an increasing number of them into qualified leads for sales. The accelerant for the whole process is the pool of customer testimonials that you will grow.

Responsibilities

  • Use social media, especially LinkedIn, to increase awareness AND build pipeline
  • Create and execute social media strategy and tactics that achieve our goals:
  • Build followers from our target market
  • Increase engagement with our social media posts
  • Convert social media engagement into leads and MQLs
  • Facilitate LinkedIn engagement between company execs and industry experts
  • Develop the brand though content that contains both human interest and business topics
  • Maximize value of existing assets by repackaging and repurposing written content and videos, while helping prioritize new content development
  • Apply analytics to understand B2B social media trends (what’s working generally) and program effectiveness (what’s working for them)
  • Ensure they are using the most appropriate technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness of their social media efforts
  • Build strong relationships with our client’s customers, and help them share their stories about working with them
  • Increase customer advocacy that validates our client’s solution through success stories, video testimonials, online reviews, referrals, and more
  • Manage customer marketing asset development process, and the library of customer assets
  • Through the process of developing relationships and new stories, learn what their customers really care about, and share those insights to improve their marketing overall
  • Create and manage customer engagement programs, such as user groups, meet-ups, and awards programs

Experience & Skills

  • LinkedIn influencer with B2B marketing orientation, demonstrated by high activity and engagement that is effectively used to create business value
  • Persuasive communicator that convinces customers to share their stories and motivates online followers to take action
  • Outstanding storyteller that engages audiences through written word and video, as well as verbally
  • Demonstrates both passion for serving and understanding customers, and hustle to publish a customer success story whenever the door cracks open
  • Expert on social media technology and tools
  • Familiarity marketing to marketers, and with the overall MarTech domain
  • B2B Saas experience at the early stage and through high growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or relevant field
