What’s the position?

The Senior Manager – Influencer will build and own Hard Rock Digital’s influencer program from the ground up. This role is responsible for standing up the end-to-end creator engine—strategy, sourcing, contracting, briefing, content review, coordination for paid amplification, measurement, and continuous optimization. With a focus on performance, brand safety, and compliance, you’ll design a scalable program that drives engagement and retention while elevating Hard Rock Digital’s presence with creators who authentically reach our target audiences. You will partner closely with our Influencer Agency, Legal/Compliance, Integrated Marketing, Social Media, and Paid Media, to ensure every activation meets regulatory requirements and business goals.

The ideal candidate blends zero-to-one builder mentality with deep influencer expertise in regulated industries, is data-driven, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to establish processes and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Strategy & Launch: Help define the influencer vision, operating model, and playbooks for Hard Rock Digital.
  • Creator Sourcing & Partnerships: Work with our Influencer Agency to identify, vet, and onboard creators (macro, micro, nano) across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and emerging platforms.
  • Compliance, Governance & Brand Safety: Build approval workflows that satisfy platform policies, responsible gaming messaging, and state-by-state regulations; maintain accurate disclosures and content archives.
  • Campaign Execution: Own briefs, content calendars, review cycles, coordinate whitelisting/creator-licensing, and go-live QA to ensure flawless execution.
  • Measurement & Attribution: Partner with the Influencer Agency to have deep insights into on-platform performance Analytics, and work with Paid Social to understand what’s performing for that team.
  • Budgeting: Own influencer spend, pacing, and investment mix; optimize toward efficiency and business impact.
  • Creative Direction & Content Quality: Guide creators toward on-brand, high-performing content, formats, and CTAs; balancing paid and organic needs.
  • Risk & Issues Management: Establish monitoring, escalation paths, and crisis protocols; proactively manage brand reputation and creator conduct.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in influencer/creator marketing, ideally with 2+ years in regulated industries or adjacent high-compliance environments.
  • Proven zero-to-one builder who has launched and scaled influencer programs, including setting strategy, processes, and tooling.
  • Demonstrated success in hitting performance targets while maintaining strict compliance and brand safety.
  • Deep knowledge of creator ecosystems, platform dynamics, paid whitelisting, dark posting, and usage/licensing.
  • Strong analytical mindset, used to continually refine content development.
  • Excellent project management skills; able to manage multiple creators and campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled negotiator and communicator with experience in contracts, usage rights, talent relations, and senior-level stakeholder updates.
  • Collaborative leader with experience managing agencies; known for clear SOPs and operational rigor.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability, quality, and compliance discipline (responsible messaging, recordkeeping, etc.).
  • Passion for creators and social culture, with a test-and-learn mindset and the agility to adapt as platforms and regulations evolve.
