We’re in search of an experienced Social Media Manager to develop and execute our social strategy that raises awareness and drives engagement with both retailers and consumers. This is an extremely unique opportunity to leave your mark and build a huge social following with an existing yet untapped network of top retailers and millions of shoppers already using Bolt. This role will lead, support and strengthen our brand’s customer facing voice and persona across social media channels, with a focus on audience development and shopper engagement. You’ll create campaigns to amplify content to promote Bolt within the retail industry. In this role you’ll work closely with Digital Marketing, Customer Marketing and Customer Experience teams to build engaging and effective programs with and for customers. You’ll own social for Bolt handling all feeds and engagement. You have a strong passion for everything social and will help develop the voice and brand of Bolt while integrating cultural trends in natural ways. In this role, you will become our storyteller that personifies all of Bolt’s values externally in fun, engaging, meaningful, and thoughtful ways.
Responsibilities
- Grow and maintain Bolt’s social media channels on a daily basis
- Develop the voice and personality of Bolt on social channels to prospects, our target retailers and their millions of shoppers
- Be Bolt’s brand advocate in social channels with customers, partners and consumers
- Partner closely with our internal teams and agency partners to deliver content and programming built for social feeds; ensure all work aligns with the brand’s visual aesthetic and tone of voice
- Build a diverse pipeline of social media content, effectively crafting them in the voice and tone of the brand
- Collaborate on communication strategies with our PR agency
- Develop customer social contests and giveaways to shoppers with our Customer Marketing team
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to build social programs to create prospects from existing and upcoming content such as ebooks and industry reports
- Monitor and analyze conversations across key social media channels to prepare monthly reports to update the business on insights and opportunities
- Partner with marketing teams to develop social influencer strategy and ensure that it is aligned with Bolt’s brand and reflects the trends and attitudes of Bolt’s customers.
- Find opportunities in our existing social media channels, as well as exploring new channels
Requirements
- 7+ years prior experience creating social media strategy and content, preferably across multiple platforms
- Passion for social media space and fueled desire to innovate and achieve audience development goals
- Proven success in building a following and engaging with influencers to build a brand
- Direct experience managing, developing, and optimizing social media campaigns and strategies
- Deep working knowledge of social media channels, including management of performance-based paid social advertising campaigns
- Experience with social media monitoring tools and platforms
- Thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with departments
- Comprehensive understanding of best practices standards for all social media channels including and not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Solid analytical skills and experience using data to drive actionable insights and decision-making
- Ability to collaborate well with Bolt’s partners, influence without direct authority, and build strong relationships across teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate complex program, processes, recommendations, and data to audiences across functions, teams, and organizational levels
