The Social Media Content Creator owns the Tiff’s Treats social media presence and drives the brand's creative direction on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels.

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a strategic social media strategy that drives engagement and sales. They will own filming, editing, and creating all content as well as directly collaborating and guiding content created by various outside vendors. This role will rely heavily on data-driven insights to make strategic decisions on what content to produce. This role will directly manage all brand ambassador and influencer initiatives, whether that be ran in-house or by a third party agency. Lastly, this role will work closely with our customer service team to ensure all outbound communications through social media align with brand guidelines.

This is a part-time, 20-25 hours/week position based out of Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Conceptualize, create, and produce high-quality visual and video content for Tiff's Treats' social media platforms.
  • Video Production: Film and edit videos, ensuring they align with our brand's identity and message. This includes creating both short-form and long-form content.
  • Creative Strategy: Develop and implement a creative strategy that aligns with Tiff's Treats' marketing goals and brand identity.
  • Collaboration and Creative Direction: Collaborate with the marketing team, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all platforms. Provide ongoing support, including feedback on content drafts and assistance with creative challenges. Conduct weekly touch bases to review the content calendar, go over ideas, and ensure alignment of Asana tasks and deadlines.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with our online community, respond to comments, and foster positive interactions with our audience.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of social media content using analytics tools. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
  • Social Media Management & Engagement: Manage social media accounts, including scheduling, posting, and monitoring content across platforms using tools like Dash Hudson. Actively engage with the audience by responding to comments, liking posts, and fostering community interaction.
  • Influencer Management: Oversee and support collaborations with influencers managing outreach requests, coupon code creations, contracts, whitelisting, etc.
  • On-Site Community Activations: Travel to new locations to lead on-site activations. Organize and execute campus outreach itineraries, including distributing flyers, cookies, and posters. Support Treats Truck activations at sorority events and local bars. Create content to showcase the events and enhance community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in social media creative content development and management.
  • Proficiency in video filming and editing software.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
  • Exceptional creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for cookies and desserts is a plus!
