Public Relations AE/SAE, Beauty

Tractenberg & Co., an NYC-based influencer, events, public relations, and social media agency, is actively seeking an AE/SAE to join beauty team. The ideal candidate has strong media relationships and a clear understanding of the process and client management. This position will support the Vice President and AVP in the development of strategies for a portfolio of various beauty brands. The role is remote during the pandemic.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Vice President and AVP in the development and execution of strategic communications and influencer plans
• Daily influencer and traditional media outreach
• Identify new and out-of-the-box initiatives and partnerships
• Create and manage program budgets

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of PR/influencer experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism or other relevant areas of study
• Beauty and public relations experience is a MUST. Experience in natural hair space an added plus but not mandatory.
• Strong influencer and media contacts
• Excellent pitching skills with a proven track record in securing quality results
• A deep understanding of the influencer and media landscape
• Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in public relations in-house or at an agency
