Syncron is seeking a Global Public Relations & Social Media Manager to increase brand awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by executing effective communication, traditional and social media, and industry analyst and influencer programs in key markets across Europe, North America and Asia.
Candidates for this high-impact, role should have the ability to establish stellar relationships with industry influences, and be able to write for a variety of traditional PR, editorial and social media channels. We're looking for a natural storyteller who can create dynamic content that is highly relevant to our target audiences. This high-visibility position reports to the Director of Brand and Communication and work directly with the company's executive committee, marketing leadership team and key member of our sales, product, customer success and employee success teams.
To be successful, the candidate must be capable of managing multiple agency relationships around the world, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high-growth environment.

- Analyze social media data, draw actionable insights and constantly test new strategies, content, and campaigns to improve performance.

Skills And Experience
- A minimum of 7-10 years of public relations, social media and communications experience with a SaaS company or agency serving similar clients.
- Proven track record of securing media coverage with business and trade publications, social media and industry analysts.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Extensive experience writing press releases, case studies, white papers and contributed articles and other marketing content.
- Experience tracking and analyzing competitive media coverage and calculating return on investment.
- Excellent knowledge of and experience in all components of the public relations, analyst relations and social media processes.
- Proven ability to manage and collaborate with public relations agencies and industry analyst firms in North America and Europe.
- Experience delivering significant value through the development and execution of social media campaigns.
- Skilled at "tactful newsjacking," meaning the ability to (tactfully) capitalize on a news story, trend, or hashtag.
- Driven, self-starter able to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
- Knowledge of the durable good manufacturing industry technology industry is preferred.
- International PR, social media and communication experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or public relations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional marketing managers and the senior director of marketing communication to create and execute a global PR and social medial strategy and plan.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships and develop a positive brand image with business, trade and vertical market media, industry analysts and industry influencers.
- Secure high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
- Direct social media programs and campaigns to engage relevant audiences.
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
- Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations.
- Field requests for speaking engagements, research projects, interviews, and corporate sponsorships.
- Track monthly public relations performance and calculate returns on PR investments.
- Research, submit and facilitate speaking engagements for key members of the Syncron team.
