Director of Brand Partnerships
We’re looking for a Director of Brand Partnerships to join our smart, savvy, female-led company as a member of our Advertising Sales Department. You will be a part of a hungry, happy, creative, and driven team. We have our pulse on what female business owners, and leaders are tuning into, spending, and making waves in the business world. We’re looking for a passionate performer and strategic seller with a history of success in acquiring new business, specifically B2B sales, and maintaining our current partners while enabling Entreprenista to soar to new levels with authentic and profitable partnerships. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and industry. This role will be helping to not only proactively source and bring on new partners, but to develop the roadmap to grow the partnerships team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop go-to-market sales strategy for Entreprenista Media across high-growth sectors including forecasting revenue projections and growth of the team
- Establish a curated account list based on brands that align with our core Entreprenista target audience, do research on brands spending with competitive publishers
- Prospect new partners and brands or marketing agencies for Entreprenista and proactively pitch partners each week
- Poactively reach out to current network of contacts to grow initial opportunities and pipeline
- Drive the sales cycle: effectively conduct a partner needs analysis, succinctly communicate Entreprenista’s vision in the market, prepare and present proposals and media plans, proactively negotiate deals to close Create and pitch proposals including custom brand content, digital media, Entreprenista influencer campaigns, Podcast content, and awards, leveraging the Entreprenista Platform.

- Stay up to date on current social media, podcast, and partnership trends
- Analyze data to make informed decisions about performance of partnerships and new opportunities
- Develop a strategic approach to building the roster of our new accounts and devise effective sales strategies to identify larger opportunities and make recommendations to drive increased account activity.
- Participate in major industry events, conferences, speaking opportunities.
- Exceed revenue goals provided to you by leadership.
- Form relationships with current partners for ongoing partnership opportunities
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for women in business and helping the future generation of women leaders
- Experience with B2B sales and knowing what B2B marketers are looking for in partnerships
- 3-5 years of experience in brand sales for a national publication, digital, or within Podcast sales.
- Existing relationships with prospective clients/partners
- Deep understanding of the media sales landscape
- Can identify all levels of the client/brand side and build and maintain relationships
- Thoughtful Self Driver who can create packages for brands utilizing the Entreprenista toolbox
- Executive Presence, superior presentation and storytelling ability over Zoom
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted start-up environment to oversee multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Fluency in the language of digital media: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, etc.
- Fluency in the language of online measurement & research tied to advertiser campaigns
- Extensive contacts with brands in the B2B vertical
- Bachelor’s Degree
