The Brand Amp, a leading Marketing Communications agency now has an opening in our Costa Mesa office. The Brand Amp is looking for a full-time Influencer Marketing person with a proven history of successfully working with traditional celebrities & social media influencers to support national marketing campaigns. This excellent opportunity gives a motivated and driven person the ability to shine and to grow. The ideal candidates will have previously worked at a PR or social media marketing agency and have experience or knowledge of the following verticals: entertainment, sports, automotive, tech, fitness, parenting & content.

This position is client-facing position and is responsible for developing strategy, managing programs, procuring influencers and providing on-going counsel. We are a team, and you will be working closely with all of the different departments: PR, social media, event & content teams. The ideal candidate must have a strong ability to multi-task and independently problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:

  • Develop influencer marketing strategies & programs for key clients
  • Establish goals and objectives, along with key success metrics for each program
  • Identify target influencer profiles in key categories & deliverables to attain client success
  • Lead research efforts to identify appropriate influencer candidates
  • Oversee outreach, negotiation and procurement of influencers
  • Management of all influencer deliverables
  • Development of weekly and monthly reporting
  • Identify influencer opportunities to be leveraged with other business units
  • Understanding & enforcement of proper FTC disclosures
  • Stay on top of industry trends & PR/social media advancements

Desired Experience

  • Agency Experience: 3 - 5 years of influencer marketing experience at a PR or social media marketing agency
  • Strategy Development: Proven success in developing impactful influencer programs & reporting success
  • Influencer Outreach: Experience identifying, securing & managing influencers for consumer facing national brands
  • Social Media: Robust understanding of social media platforms & analytics
  • Writing & Communication: Must have strong written & verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively both externally with clients & internally with peers
  • Self-Starter: Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced & deadline-driven environment
  • Creativity: Imagination to develop newsworthy PR campaign strategies & promotions that will resonate with target audiences
  • Organization: Ability to handle multiple campaigns for several clients simultaneously, while maintaining quality of work
