Our emerging technologies team, within Amazon’s Device organization, is looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented individuals to join our fast paced, start-up environment to help invent the future of health. We have just launched our initial product and service offering and are excited to continue inventing on behalf of our customers.

We are looking for a strategic, creative, and highly motivated Sr. Social Media Manager to lead social media content strategy and community development for the growing Amazon Halo brand. You live and breathe social media, and know how to use it to target new customers, build community, and develop and deploy content to support business goals. In this role, you will develop our social media playbook, define our creative tone and voice in social, and lead programs that inspire customer advocacy. You’ll also understand the power of influencer marketing, and know how to leverage deep relationships with social influencers who can support our objectives.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the internet and active online, knowledgeable about pop culture and current trends, has a proven track record of using social media to increase brand awareness and engagement, knows how to develop engaging social content, has a deep understanding of both established and emerging social media channels, and is able to flex between thinking big and diving deep.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage social media channels and content strategy to support the Amazon Halo brand
  • Partner closely with Product, Go-to-Market, Creative, and Engagement teams to develop and maintain a forward-looking social calendar that aligns with key product, category, seasonal and cultural milestones
  • Synthesize customer insights gleaned from social media (e.g., social sentiment) and develop mechanisms for feeding those insights into product and marketing roadmaps
  • Partner closely with BD and Campaign/Media teams to amplify influencer programs, including integrating influencer content into our posting schedule
  • Actively engage in the brand’s online communities, building deeper relationships with customers, inspiring testimonials, and driving advocacy
  • Utilize deep brand and product knowledge to develop creative that raises the bar and delivers on key strategic needs

Basic Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of social media and/or community management experience
  • Hands-on experience with managing social media accounts for major brands
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to roll-up sleeves to make things happen
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising or related field
