Who We’re Looking For
Therabody is seeking a Social Media Manager for our Los Angeles HQ location to help develop our social media strategies and execute on various social platforms. This person will be responsible for managing our social strategy to organically grow and maintain the Therabody social channels.
You will need to possess an entrepreneurial ability to try new and different things with minimal direction. Overall, you will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas and think of creative ways to engage new social audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage domestic social media accounts and play a vital role in developing and executing future social media strategies.
- Own the publishing, moderation and ongoing engagement of relevant social platforms, in alignment with the social media standards and guidelines
- Provide engaging text, image and video content for all of Therabody’s social media accounts
- Responsible for building a strong sense of community with our customers via social media by engaging with them on various platforms and fielding questions and customer concerns that appear in comments and messages to the appropriate parties
- Create engaging, shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our products
- Ensure all content is fully optimized across relevant channels via tagging, linking and rapidly implementing any new social media technology
- Monitor and measure growth of follower count across international digital channels
- Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
- Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
- Understand the nuances and possibilities of each platform to provide content recommendations
- Experience with creating content for Instagram Story and producing successful Instagram Lives
- Strategize on how to optimize posts for higher engagement as well as follower growth through influencer-ran giveaways and paid social strategy
- Build relationships with community members, primarily Influencers, content creators, partners and other brand advocates
- Stay up-to-date with trending topics and viral hashtags
The Right Person Would Have
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field(s)
- 3+ years of social media management experience
- Experience with any social media management software/programs preferred
- Natural authentic story-telling and visual communicator with a genuine love for the industry
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Story Insights
- Proven self-starter with the ability to juggle priorities and manage expectations
- Ability to identify and track relevant social KPIs
- Hands on experience with social media management and strategy development
- Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) and grammar skills
- Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
