Content, Brand Partnerships & Social Media Manager

Dropps is growing rapidly and we are currently looking for a Content, Brand Partnerships & Social Media Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will be responsible for developing and scaling our content marketing, brand partnerships, and social media engagement strategy. In this highly visible role, the manager will "own" social media and be directly accountable for growth and engagement results. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, they will set strategy in order to bring the Dropps story to life on all channels.
Additional Ongoing Responsibilities
- Build actionable cross-platform content roadmaps that serve as the backbone of content production and performance to support product launches, fuel awareness, search engine optimization, thought leadership, and partnership opportunities.
- Strategize and execute engaging social media and email initiatives based on brand goals.
- Manage and grow Dropps' social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok.
- Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology.
- Keep a constant pulse on industry and social trends, and competitor's social presence & strategies.
- Make recommendations to ensure that Dropps' feeds stays fresh and relevant in a fast-changing, competitive landscape.
- Schedule and push daily content across a variety of social platforms, and ensure content is properly tagged for analytics and attribution.
- Engage with online communities through Dropps' brand voice to garner / strengthen relationships.
- Work with our customer support team to ensure consumers have a great experience within each social media channel.
- Analyze social data/metrics and community insights to inform future brand strategies.
- Develop a recommendation for high priority content areas/themes for Dropps to own and win in.
- Strategize and execute on brand and influencer partnerships focused on brand awareness or customer acquisition.
- Work cross-functionally with paid marketing, creative and product teams to optimize content for conversion through tests and iterations
- Leverage data-driven analytics to track KPI's and generate insights
- Build and scale our brand ambassador program to promote brand awareness, merchandise products, and foster customer relationships.
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on social media platforms in corporate marketing or agency marketing roles.
- Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- An expert on trends in fast changing social platforms (i.e. TikTok, Instagram).
- Experience in the influencer marketing space.
- You are an exceptional writer and storyteller who can effectively engage an audience with content across multiple channels.
- Proficient in content marketing theory and application with an understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written skills; exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights and recommend optimizations and new strategies.
- Can effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, decide and act without having the total picture, and handle risk and uncertainty.
- Knowledge of design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) a plus.
