About The Position
Creative storyteller. Health & beauty brand fanatic. Content marketing and branding expert. Passionate about all things about direct-to-consumer CPG brands and thinks outside the box. Does that sound like you?
We’re looking for a creative strategist who understands growth and analytics to head our Brand division and grow our direct-to-consumer brand through story-telling, visual narratives, ad creatives, content, and social media. The ideal candidate for this role has a deep understanding of paid advertising as it relates to growing a DTC brand and building its community.
You’ll be both managing the team while also getting in the weeds yourself to execute. You’ll report to the President and be responsible for leading iRestore’s direct-to-consumer growth and heavily influence our brand direction.
Had You Been With Us Last Year, You Would Have:
- Created stories around our brand and crafted messaging that is broadcast across all channels and media
- Developed and refined our brand voice, design guidelines and aesthetics to elevate brand value and deepen brand affinity
- Directed the narrative and visual storytelling of our new website
- Dived deep into understanding the customer persona and journey to create high-converting ads that resonate with our target audience, primarily on Facebook and Instagram
- Oversaw our Creative team and production agency for video and photoshoots for the iRestore Pro launch
- Led the marketing editorial calendar strategy for our email, social media, ads, and more
- Led our influencer marketing and content strategy as we build out the team and assigned KPIs across the board
What You’ll Do as Director of Brand Marketing:
- Lead all content marketing efforts and creatives development to create high-converting ads, especially video creatives on social media
- Drive strategy, budget and execution of brand marketing initiatives through any medium required, ensuring a consistent brand message across all consumer touch points including web, paid media, product, packaging, retail, events, social, catalog, etc.
- Partner closely with our Head of Growth and President to develop the brand narrative to ensure alignment on a shared vision and roadmap – and bring it to life
- Collaborate with the Growth team on ad creatives testing, website CRO, targeting refinement and validating new channel opportunities
- Lead efforts for marketing editorial calendar, online reputation management, blog, and SEO
- Leverage deep understanding of UI/UX and design to elevate our brand aesthetics and customer experiences
- Lead our copy, content, social media and creative teams in all asset production and creative strategy
- Partner with Growth team to grow our influencer program and lead our team to execute against company targets to grow those channels
- Optimize and elevate the customer experience from A to Z – from the point they see an ad to the moment they receive and unbox our products
- Analyze our consumer insights and customer experience metrics to elevate our brand affinity and streamline our brand voice and messaging to tailor to target customer avatar
To Be A Good Fit For This Job, You Must Have:
- 5+ years of relevant brand/content experience with a DTC eCommerce brand, preferably in the health and beauty space
- 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing and content strategy with proven track record of hitting targets and influencer program process implementation
- 2+ years of experience leading or overseeing a brand creative team
- Experience with new and existing social media platforms and a technical understanding on how to generate awareness and engagement
- Experience and demonstrated the ability to hire and manage a brand team
- A great eye for branding and good creatives
- A natural ability to collaborate well with others across the organization and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to streamline processes and develop an efficient pipeline for asset creation
- Ability to be strategic and tactical – be able to zoom in and out, both manage a team and get in the weeds to make it happen
- Familiar with UI/UX strategy and design and how that ties into branding and conversion tactics
- A growth mindset and a focus on personal development and learning from the best brands and thought leaders
- A strong desire to build a network of other great practitioners
