The VP of Marketing is the architect of brand and private label marketing strategy, planning and activation. The position will need to spread the word and deeply connect with consumer audiences across the US, and eventually the world. The ideal candidate brings classic training of lifestyle or sports brands, a strong appreciation for the Company’s mission, experience in digital and influencer marketing, and specific expertise in consumer packaged goods. Innovation acumen and coherence to the design of an overarching brand and marketing strategy will be critical.

As a member of the Senior Leadership team, he or she will continue building the marketing organization and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business. He or she will work hand in hand with Origin Caribe’s CEO, Board of Directors, Executive Team, and agency partners to realize the benefits of collaboration and help ensure alignment.

WTRMLN WTR is at an exciting and pivotal point in its development. We need a leader who can build and inspire a team to grow the brand, execute strategy, and inspire the whole company around the brands and company mission!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Develop the marketing strategy to enable business growth in brands and private label

● Build growth initiatives and marketing programming to drive key growth pillars for the total business.

● Lead the articulation of the brand, and the plan to activate the brand, working closely with the founder, the executive team and others within the organization.

● Activate specific brand marketing campaigns in key markets, targeting key audiences to grow awareness, knowledge, engagement and ambassadorship.

● Leading the development of new product innovation with a view of monetizing high margin new products.

● Working closely with the Sales Leadership to assist in driving the growth sales plan

● Leading market research, including customer segmentation, sip tests, packaging research, A+U research, and ethnographic profiling

● Building and leading the marketing team, including brand marketing, field marketing, digital marketing, influencer marketing, a creative team, among others – to be determined with your guidance.

● Design and execute the DTC strategy for the business.

● Developing and delivering against Key Performance Indicators as part of the corporate business plan, your divisional business plan and specific campaigns

● Acting as a thought leader and chief brand ambassador for the business.

● Develop and manage the marketing budget and all its components to ensure financial performance for the business.

● Active participation in growing the WTRMLN WTR culture, as an organization that is fun, authentic, hard-working, collaborative and unwavering in its mission to highlight and embrace a modern culture in a socially responsible manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

● A degree in business with a concentration in marketing or equivalent; MBA preferred

● 8+ years senior leadership experience in brand development and marketing, and/or product development and marketing within a B2C lifestyle-oriented omni-channel environment

● A track record defining, articulating and amplifying brands, both internally and externally

● A knowledge of the importance of Private Label business for strategic retailers

● A track record building and leading high-performing marketing teams that meet and exceed performance targets

● Proven ability to leverage market research and data to inform plans and achieve results

● A highly collaborative style, with a keen ability to influence and build on the ideas of others

● An ability to identify and cultivate winning partnerships that support the marketing division’s objectives

● An ability to contribute to the company’s culture and enhance overall enterprise value
