Corporate & Brand Marketing Lead
Job Description
Gloat is helping the world’s leading enterprises create more agile workforces by connecting talent to opportunities in real-time with the power of AI. We created the Internal Talent Marketplace category and are projecting incredible growth as we enter 2021. We’re looking for an experienced B2B marketing and comms leader to help drive Gloat’s corporate and brand marketing efforts. In this role, you will help establish Gloat’s market positioning and own the communications plan that elevates Gloat’s market presence in key strategic channels. You will also be the keeper of the Gloat brand and voice, working with internal and external parties alike to ensure Gloat’s voice and story are coming through consistently and in the most high-impact way. To succeed, you will bring an expertise managing PR, Media, Analyst, and Influencer Relations, an exceptional ability to craft moving and resonant messaging for large enterprise decision-makers, and a strong acumen for brand positioning that cuts through. This will be a high-visibility, high-impact role working cross-functionally across our global team, including our executive team up to the CEO.
Job Requirements
7+ years of experience in corporate marketing and/or comms in B2B / Enterprise, ideally in SaaS
Experience with large enterprise buyers (10K+ employees)
Experience with HR and Talent Buyers a strong plus
Experience with PR, Media, and Analyst Relations
Global experience managing international partners and initiatives, both internally and externally
Experience in brand building and curation, including the development and management of corporate-level positioning, brand and style guidelines, and global brand governance
An entrepreneurial mindset, including a high tolerance for ambiguity, a penchant for experimentation, and a bias towards action.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Set the Comms Strategy - Establish and execute a communication strategy for Gloat that drives awareness for our brand and elevates our place in the category
Lead Global Brand Initiatives & Events - Lead the development of strategic global marketing programs like our Gloat Live conference and own the strategy for our participation in strategic industry initiatives, events, etc.
Brand Consistency - Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure the Gloat brand is showing up consistently across channels and mediums, including design, tone & voice, and more
PR, Media & Analyst Relations - Lead a Communications effort that drives influence and advocacy with Press, Analysts, and influential voices in the community.
Executive & Brand Thought Leadership - Lead the development of thought leadership and other corporate presentations, including executive comms.
Culture and Employer Branding - Partner with HR on internal communications and be a champion for the Gloat culture.
