Marketing Associate

Parajumpers, a market leader in innovative and technical Italian outerwear, is seeking a creative and results oriented Marketing Associate with a background in fashion marketing and experience in luxury wholesale. Based in SoHo, NYC we are an inspired and close-knit team of brand builders.

Our ideal candidate will develop and deploy a US marketing strategy resulting in increased exposure, visibility, and sales for Parajumpers through the following actions:

· Secure product placement and brand coverage via traditional and non-traditional press

· Establish influencer/celebrity outreach and gifting program

· Manage all in-store and digital wholesale advertising efforts

· Coordinate with US sales team to develop product specific go-to-market initiatives

· Analyze and report ROI for all US based marketing related activities

The above responsibilities are the main focus of the role. However, at times throughout the year and particularly during seasonal sales campaigns, the candidate will be expected to assist in sales support activities including:

· Order entry

· Sales appointment support

· Client customer service

· Product knowledge seminars

· Visual merchandising

Necessary personal characteristics for all aspects of the role include:

· Extremely detail-oriented

· Self-motivated

· Excellent collaboration and team skills

· Energetic, personable, confident and positive attitude

· Outstanding communication skills, written and oral

· Strong customer service skills

· Ability to multi-task while maintaining vigilant attention to details

· Excellent foresight and follow up skills

Requirements:

· 2 or more years of experience in a marketing and or wholesale role within the fashion industry

· Existing relationships with higher end boutique and department store buyers a plus

· Strong sales presentation skills

· Ability and willingness to travel

· Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
