The Opportunity

We’re seeking a bold, commercially minded marketing leader who can bridge brand, culture, and commerce. You’ll own how Javvy shows up in the world — across digital, retail, influencer, PR, activations, and creative campaigns — while driving measurable growth in awareness, loyalty, and revenue. You understand that brand isn’t a cost center; it’s a performance engine. You’re fluent in DTC and retail, scrappy enough to move fast, and strategic enough to scale a 9-figure CPG brand. This role reports directly to the Co-Founder and works cross-functionally with Growth, Product, Creative, and Retail teams. This is a remote position, but the ideal candidate will be highly comfortable traveling up to 1–2 weeks per month for key shoots, events, retail visits, and team collaborations.

What You’ll Own

Brand & Creative Leadership

  • Own and evolve Javvy’s brand strategy, positioning, and creative direction.
  • Lead all brand campaigns — from high-production commercials and hero launches to agile, social-first storytelling.
  • Oversee influencer kits, PR boxes, and creative partnerships that build obsession and earned buzz.
  • Drive experiential activations — from pop-ups and sampling events to large-scale stunts — that turn fans into community and bring the brand to life IRL.
  • Ensure creative excellence across all channels — balancing emotional storytelling with measurable performance.

Growth, Culture & Community

  • Build Javvy’s cultural footprint through influencer marketing, brand collaborations, and community storytelling.
  • Partner with Growth and Retail teams to align creative, influencer, and social strategies around revenue-driving outcomes.
  • Turn organic social and cultural moments into sustainable growth systems — always-on buzz that supports both DTC and retail performance.
  • Cultivate relationships with creators, tastemakers, and like-minded CPG brands to amplify reach and cultural relevance.
  • Make Javvy synonymous with better-for-you indulgence and the modern coffee lifestyle.

Commercial Integration & Performance

  • Connect DTC, Amazon, and retail into one seamless, measurable ecosystem.
  • Build omnichannel marketing playbooks that maximize both conversion and brand equity.
  • Use data, retail insights, and performance marketing feedback to guide brand investments and messaging.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to tie brand health metrics directly to CAC, LTV, velocity, and household penetration.
  • Ensure marketing spend drives profitable, attributable growth across all channels.

You’re a Fit If…

  • 10–15 years of marketing experience in high-growth DTC and CPG brands, ideally with successful DTC-to-retail expansion.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy, retail marketing, influencer ecosystems, and creative production.
  • Equal parts storyteller and strategist — comfortable discussing EBITDA as much as creative direction.
  • Not too corporate — you thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership, startup environments.
  • Commercially minded: you see brand as a lever for profitable growth, not a vanity expense.
  • Hands-on leader who can roll up sleeves while guiding teams toward scalable systems.
  • Deep cultural fluency — you know what’s trending, what’s timeless, and what feels real.
  • Excited by travel — you’re energized by connecting with teams, retail partners, and creators IRL.
