Influencer Specialist
Reporting to the Senior Social Media + Influencer Manager, the Influencer Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing all aspects of influencer and content creator outreach, relationship management, content deliverables, data reporting and content optimization. This role is integrated cross-functionally and touches all parts of the marketing funnel. The primary responsibilities involve developing relationships with social influencers and executing initiatives to drive conversions and incremental awareness for the brand and products across digital and social platforms. This position requires strong relationships skills, excellent communication and written skills with a strong knowledge of influencers in the digital and social media landscape. This person will have some experience in the beauty industry or a passion for all things beauty and skincare.
Responsibilities
- Drive relationships with content creators and influencers across key social channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
- Coordinate and manage influencer content production with talent including briefing, talent sourcing, concepts, strategy and execution for product launch and evergreen content needs.
- Be the point person on outreach, negotiations, contract development and payment for all influencer partnerships. Monitor influencer performance and report monthly on KPIs (conversions, engagement, awareness, etc.)
- Keep a pulse on beauty and makeup trends. Be an in-house expert on our product lines and educate content creators to insert Thrive Causemetics into the conversations of trends, skin solutions, etc.
- Proactively stay up to date with digital and social trends, monitoring competitors and digital influencer activity across social content.
- Manage ongoing gifting efforts for influencers, makeup artists and press members.
- Identify new and emerging influencers to help scale the program.
- Collaborate with the team to support influencer conferences and other relevant events
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing (beauty experience preferred)
- BA/BS required or equivalent experience
- Detail-oriented and can juggle multiple projects and relationships at a time
- Strategic thinker with an understanding of analytics and social reporting
- Proven track record for achieving results and driving partnerships with beauty influencers across all social media platforms including emerging channels including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Collaborative and open to cross-functional ideas and work
- Excellent relationship building skills and negotiating skills
- A self-starter that is driven by creating growth and developing big picture brand strategy
