About the Role
We’re looking for a YouTube Recruiter to help identify, engage, and hire exceptional creative professionals — including YouTube strategists, creative directors, and video editors — for a range of client-facing projects.
This position is ideal for someone who understands YouTube culture, has experience sourcing creative talent, and thrives in a fast-moving, digital-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit top YouTube talent such as strategists, creative directors, and video editors.
- Use platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, Discord, and creative communities to find and engage candidates.
- Collaborate with clients to understand role requirements, culture fit, and hiring priorities.
- Research and build lists of creators, editors, and production teams within the YouTube ecosystem.
- Manage and track candidate pipelines using spreadsheets or ATS tools.
- Conduct screenings, assign test projects, and coordinate interviews as part of the recruitment process.
- Represent the agency professionally in all client and candidate interactions.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within digital media, content creation, or creative industries.
- Deep understanding of the YouTube landscape — creators, trends, and formats.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to assess both creative and technical talent effectively.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience hiring for U.S.-based media or creator-focused companies.
- Familiarity with YouTube analytics, the creator economy, or digital production workflows.
- Experience working with global or remote teams.
