The Influencer & Community Marketing Manager will lead the strategy, execution and optimization of tonies influencer programs while expanding into grassroots and
community-driven marketing. This role blends creator partnerships, parent advocacy and online/offline community engagement to drive awareness, fandom and authentic word-of-mouth.
We need someone who is passionate about storytelling, relationships and data-driven marketing. This person will own and grow our influencer program in-house, using Aspire to source, manage and optimize influencer partnerships that drive awareness, engagement and sales. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative and analytical: a natural connector who builds strong relationships with creators and an operator who thrives on tracking, reporting and scaling results.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
INFLUENCER MANAGEMENT
- Develop and execute influencer strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Manage full influencer lifecycle from discovery and contracting to content approval, measurement and optimization, ensuring content aligns with tonies brand voice and values.
- Work closely with Brand Marketing to translate seasonal campaign strategies into impactful influencer programs that boost reach, relevance, and engagement.
- Scale UGC and ambassador programs to continually refresh social storytelling.
- Partner cross-functionally with Brand, PR, and Paid Media teams to integrate influencer content into broader campaigns and product launches.
- Identify and nurture long-term creator relationships.
- Report monthly on campaign performance and spend allocations.
- Partner with other markets to share best practices and key learnings.
- Trendspotting: Stay ahead of platform updates, cultural trends and emerging creators to keep tonies at the forefront of influencer marketing.
- Audience Expansion: Think outside the box to identify influencer partners beyond the traditional “mom” community, reaching fresh audiences and new cultural touchpoints.
COMMUNITY MARKETING
- Build and activate tonies community presence both online and offline to foster belonging, advocacy and fan-led content creation.
- Launch and scale grassroots/community partnership initiatives (e.g., local “Mom Walks”) that bring tonies fans together IRL, encouraging authentic UGC and brand storytelling.
- Partner with Social and PR teams to transform community activity into earned storytelling opportunities.
- Partner closely with Portfolio and Product Marketing to understand upcoming product launches and translate them into compelling community-focused narratives and engagement plans.
- Track sentiment, engagement and growth metrics to identify new opportunities for fandom-building and advocacy.
What we are looking for:
- 3–5 years of influencer marketing or social media experience working with creators (consumer brand or agency background preferred).
- Hands-on experience managing influencer campaigns, ideally through SAAS platforms like Aspire.
- Strong grasp of social platforms beyond the major three - Reddit, Discord, Substack, Facebook Groups and other community hubs where parents gather.
- Strong mix of people skills and analytical rigor, you can build trust with creators while also being comfortable diving into dashboards and metrics.
- Experience with event planning or ambassador/community programs
- Highly organized and detail-oriented. Thrives in fast-paced environments with many moving pieces.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial, always looking for ways to improve, optimize and push campaigns forward.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
