Role Objectives

Develop and execute paid and earned influencer strategy and tactics for the U.S. market, ensuring best in class campaigns and industry leadership. Builds, cultivates and owns relationships with key influencers, creators and outside partners to build and promote our brands

Knowledge and experience working across all tiers of influencers (micro, mid, top tier and traditional experts) and nuances of working with each. Knowledge of best practices, tech platforms, tools and processes for influencer marketing. Up-to-date on latest industry trends within the influencer landscape; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently. Comfortable with digital and social platforms. Demonstrates growing ability to identify what makes a great influencer campaign. Strong analytical capabilities. Consistently produces new ideas, approaches and insights for influencer strategy for single brands as well as multi-brand, cross-portfolio campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in public relations, talent relations and/or brand marketing
  • 3+ years of influencer management and negotiations preferred
  • Bachelor of Arts degree
  • Strong contract negotiation experience highly regarded
  • Experience or knowledge of the toy industry would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Influencer Strategy and Execution

  • In collaboration with PR Director, develop influencer marketing strategy from ideating creative campaign concepts to influencer identification, acquisition, timely campaign execution and reporting.
  • Manage execution of all campaigns, ensuring campaigns are on schedule, on budget, and meet/exceed brand expectations. Spearhead communication between marketing brand managers and influencer
  • Manage all phases of influencer discovery, selection, outreach, pricing and contract negotiation for brand campaigns often across multiple digital channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), which may include both organic and paid media
  • Work with PR Director to define KPIs, measure campaigns effectiveness, engagement
  • Identify, cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with a broad spectrum of influencers, talent agencies, multi-channel networks and other third parties
  • With PR Directors oversight and assistance, manage contractual negotiations with influencers and their representatives and in house legal to ensure optimal brand outcome, while driving cost efficiencies. Advanced knowledge of contractual terms and negotiations preferred
  • In conjunction with PR director, manage outside influencer agency partners
  • Research emerging influencers, trends, technologies, platforms, competitors and recommend relevant solutions to the business
  • Liaise with Marketing, PR, Social Media, and Paid Media team members and other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product developments, and to ensure brand consistency.
  • Maintain and update influencer database, marketing calendars and influencer materials
  • Monitor influencer streams for activity and sentiment; assist with tracking influencer organic and paid performance
  • Manage influencers at all industry/Moose online/offline events, when appropriate, Lead participation in influencer and industry events, utilizing strong organizational and event planning skills,

General

  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices, KPIs, and emerging trends (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, SnapChat, Pinterest, Twitch).
  • General understanding of analytics and performance reporting
  • Create and execute project campaign timelines and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of campaigns
  • Establish processes for optimum organization
  • Work with agencies to monitor and prepare reports on influencer placements, b uild Influencer tracking parameters and reporting
  • Analyze, measure and report on influencer activity during and after influencer campaigns to evaluate ROI, address learnings and optimize future initiatives
  • Track campaign budgets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects/tasks, and adapt to changing requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies to meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Proven track record with project management and meeting timelines.
  • Conduct competitive research, relevant industry trends
  • Assist with fulfillment of daily/weekly product requests
  • Experience with celebrity outreach a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Work Hours

8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday

8:30am – 3:00pm, Friday

Plus, reasonable additional hours due to multiple time-zones.
